Allright, good news. Parents
have officialy put it at a “maybe” for going to see Ratatouille Saturday.
Ahhh…I’m kind of excited anyway, even though it isn’t for sure! 
Also, I finally saw a
Ratatouille TV ad! It was one advertising the saturday showing…pretty neat!

Update: Alright guys, there is a 90% chance that I may
not get to see Ratatouille this Saturday. It sucks like
yesterday’s poop diapers, but oh well. If only I could drive!!! Uggh.
Heheh. Actually, I’m not complaining that much. The movie comes out in two weeks anyway, and
another sneak peek of the film will be shown on the Disney Channel on Sunday, so I
ain’t that disappointed. Still…
I can’t believe that I’m going this ballistic over a stinkin’
movie! For crying it out loud, it’s not that bad! It’s not as if I’m going to have a heart attack or
something… 
Mitch - Well, you are the biggest Ratatouille geek around these
boards, and if I were you right now, I think I’d go crazy! But you’re right, the movie’s coming out in two
weeks (over there), and if you were able to wait I-don’t-know-many years for the movie, you’ll be able to wait
two weeks! 
But that sucks, dude… 
Mitch - Well that’s to bad, but yeah, it comes out in two
weeks.

Seriously, I am really mad right now, but there’s nothing I can do about it. Truth be told, the reason behind
the situation is completely understandable; henceforth, I really shouldn’t be
complaining about it. I can wait two more weeks,
but…ARGHH!!!

Mitch, it’s no big deal. Two weeks will go by quickly,
and you’ll be able to see the movie when most North Americans do. I think it’ll be more fun then. We would
spoilerize the entire Pixar board. (hehe, that would be funny though…)
I’m glad I can see it this
Saturday, actually. The weekend of the 29th is Canada Day weekend, so my parents will be heading off camping
somewhere and leaving me with my grandmother… I’d rather not leave her behind to go to a movie… I don’t see
her often.

kidding! Actually, I agree with you 100% on that. I am (in part) rather pleased that I might not have a chance to
view the film this Saturday, as I am more of a
“watch-a-movie-with-the-rest-of-the-world-on-the-same-day”-type person anyway. Like you said, it’s
only two more weeks! But oh, the strain!!
Edit/Update: Ahhh!!! New news! I will get to go see
it tomorrow after all!!

friend said he might lend it to me if I bring him along, too…But he hasn’t

I get to go tomorrow! My mom got the tickets yesterday after playing the most
horrid prank ever and telling me that she didn’t buy the tickets. I nearly passed out. I’m so happy right

I wonder now if this will have an
impact on the opening weekend gross when it starts playing on June 29th . Am I alone in this?

And nope – you’re not alone there. I am not sure
how many people will attend each screening…but, considering that 800 theaters will be showing the film, many
will have a priveledge to view the production early on in the show.
However, out of almost all of the
reviews I’ve heard/read about, people who have already seen it would love to view it again. Henceforth, I
don’t think Ratatouille’s weekend box office gross will be too low.
Maggie- I’m sorry you can’t see it on Saturday. Wahhhhh!
Bill- I don’t think it will affect the opening weekend’s gross at
all. I’m still going to watch it a couple times on the 29th.
I just bought my tickets to the theater a couple miles
away. Let’s count down the hours!
