As you can see, my band is in need of a good name. We’ve been together for almost 2 years and haven’t settled on a name. I know there are plenty of good names out there, so I’m asking some of my Pixar Planet friends to help me find one. Your help is greatly appreciated, and don’t worry, I’ll credit you guys.

^There’s a bit of a story behind that, but that’s typically the first band name that always comes ot my mind.
We play a variety of alternative metal genres. well I guess thats what we play; Alternative Metal. We arent like one of those goth creepy emo bands, but we arent Beatles friendly. Its hard to describe but I can only say we are our own style.

Enasni is sounding pretty tight! I like it! “Insane” but backwards! genious!
I play lead guitar. I dont do crazy solos, I feel you dont need to play like that to be considered a good guitarist.

For some reason, I like one-word band names.

Okay, I’m lousy at giving suggestions. One way to consider a good name is to take into account your band members’ interests. Do you guys share a common passion, or hobby (besides rocking out, of course)? Maybe a favourite place you like to hang out or where you jam? Any of you has a particular catchphrase? How would you describe yourselves? And then just add a noun to that adjective.
Naming a band is totally fun, I should form my own one day…
I like many of these that you guys have suggested, but for some reason I’ve fallen in love with Catalyst. I drew up a logo for it too. its really the logo that sold it for me. I’ll upload it as soon as I can find the darn thing.
I drew up concept album atrwork for it. We still havent decicded a name yet.
BTW: the quality is so much better in photoshop

Myspace it if you have one… I think there is a newer metal band with that name
