I voted a couple days
ago in the Entertainment Weekly “Oscars Pick” contest. I picked “Cars” to win for animated
feature, but I noticed that EW’s pick was “Happy Feet.” I’m wondering whether EW is perceiving some
momentum shift away from Pixar.
I can’t wait for the Oscars. I make such a big deal out
of it every year. Oscars is truly the best night in television and the best Hollywood films. I am rooting for
Cars in the Animated Feature, which will probably win. Lifted for Animated Short and “Our Town” for
Original Song have low chances of winning.
Well ,“Our Town” did win a grammy, while a certain movie (cough
dreamgirls cough ) did not get nominated .
i don’t know about lifted though , since i’ve only seen 20
seconds of it .
i really hope cars wins . what am i saying ? of course they’re gonna win ! go us !
i’ll keep my fingers crossed for CARS…

Well, just because one didn’t get nominated
for a Grammy Award, doesn’t mean they will obliterate in the Academy Awards. This time, Dreamgirls have 3
nominations for best song. Cars only has one. So anything can happen.
