And because I personally appreciated the more subtle, teenager like romance of Sally and Lightning. It’s not over doing it, like with Woody and Bo Peep(in my opinion) in the first Toy Story, but it’s still there. I like that balance, even though they’re not my favorite Pixar couple.

Yeah…I like young(er) romances like Lightning and Sally or Hercules and Meg…not like Twilight though…ewww :stuck_out_tongue:.I also like the idea of it stemming from dislike…I think it’s cuter that way…

I agree. I think it depends on the couple, though. For instance, Helen and Bob are married. If they acted as innocent as, say, Wall-E/EVE, I wouldn’t be able to believe it. I think in cases like Hercules and Cars, though, the detachedness(is that a word? XD) is more appropriate.

I don’t think he would hurt her, either. Or cheat on her. Personally, I would like to see their relationship mature in Cars 2, not disintegrate.

I think it would be itneresting if Holly and Lightning did have feelings for each other, but Lightning resisted her, because her love for Sally was so strong.

eje: I agree except for Lightning having feelings for Holly…I think that would add a little maturity to Cars 2 since the first one wasn’t “mature enough”…but since Sally’s role is going to be reduced I would like to see hints…would’nt it be something if they were married?

LOL yeah, it’s a bit disturbing actually, I hate it when I’m looking up picture of animated characters and theres some sexual related fan art stuck in there. There are just somethings that should be left undiscussed.
