Whats the chatroom for in the menu?
Well, it’s just like a place to go and talk. Unless nobody else is in there. I’m not a fan, but many people here love it as a way to socialize.
Ah. I thought it was for meetings or something cause I read something around here about it.
Sometimes the regular members here schedule chat parties. I try to avoid them for the most part. I spend enough time on the computer.
Hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm…yep. I’ll avoid them. I’m not a party person.
Me either. It’s awkward to me. Not sure why. And sometimes I miss several messages, then I’m severely confused.
Yeah. I’m very easily confused. That’s probably why a moderator got on me. Cause I say “hhmm” a lot. As well as I ask questions about previous posts.
Yeah, you do say hmm a lot.
Well yeah. And I primarily use it as a placeholder for a later answer (or as a way to say I’m thinking about what was said.)
The chat room is used more as an IM service between members, so people can have a large, and quick-responding conversations with each other.
Haha, the only thing we get you for are the ‘hmms’, ‘ums’ and quoting. And while it’s good to know that you’re still there, it doesn’t really add much to the conversation. That’s all. And rarely is it ever needed to quote an entire post, you can just quote a small chunk, and we’ll know where you’re responding to as well.
ah well. I could supress using the hmmms and so. as for the quoting, sometimes I accidentally click the quote button (I use an iPod to browse this forum by the way. It’s slow to type.)
Okay hopefully that’s cleared up.
I honestly do not mean to cause distress.
Ah, gotcha. iPod user. There, I can totally sympathize with you. If I see the huge quoting from you, I’ll cut it down for ya, but chaa. No worries
Okay then. .
Did that answer your question S 330?
Yep! It did. Now the thread can die
Very well then. Locking up.
