Aardman has an amazing track record; their funny, extremely well animated, charming and likeable creations, from Wallace & Gromit to Creature Comforts to The Pirates, have made themselves into the hearts of many animation fans, and not just British ones.
Having said that though, since to perfect is to destroy and you can’t really love something unless you’re willing to mock it for all it’s worth, what exactly is their worst creation? What is the most terrible product to come from them that skimps on their track record?
It can be a certain short, movie, TV series, commercials even, it just has to be animated by them and agreeably, or at the very least based on your own personal opinion, awful.
The National Accident Helpline adverts? Not because the animation’s bad or anything, just that they’re on too much And the voices get annoying after a while.
Plus, I find the dog in them a bit shifty. Here he is with a bandaged arm, leg, and ear: youtube.com/watch?v=x3RsWKs5_XA
and here he is with his other arm broken:

and here he is on crutches:

What the heck is this dog doing that gets him injured so often??? And apparently it’s always someone else’s fault. I think Aardman are subtly trying to suggest he’s faking it for the money. After all, he’s evidently making a new claim in every ad.
