Indeed, I was hoping for "Find

Yourself" to get there (A nice Diametric Opposite to “Lose Yourself” :slight_smile: ), but the Oscar rules

state otherwise. For a song to be considered eligible for best song:

  1. It has to have it’s debut on the

Official Movie Soundtrack
2. A sizeable portion of the song has to be clearly and

audibly heard either in the main part of the film, or the [b]first

song[/b] of the credits.

FY, sadly, was the second song of the credits, and while one can hear

it during Lightning’s second day in RS, It’s rather faint and may not qualify as audible.

The Star Swordsman - Was

“Find Yourself” an original song, though? I always thought that the only

piece from Cars to be eligible for submission was [i]Our

Town[/i]? I could be wrong, though… :confused:

No I don’t think so. I thought Find Yourself was an original song. A song that I thought

would be nominated was “Life is a HIghway”, but that was just a remake.
