I’m satisfied with The Artist winning Best Picture, but a little disappointed Hugo didn’t win.
I’m glad to hear about other Hugo fans. I’m also interested in seeing how I react to seeing the film a second time.

I’m male, but most of my characters are women (because I feel we need more of them in fiction). And they never talk about men, or love issues in general, really.
In stuff I make. My character’s are usually male. But I like to give females strong roles two since there just as important.
That’s awesome, good for you! I don’t create many stories nowadays, though that may change now that I’m pursuing a writing minor, but I like to play around with completely different characters.
I’m writing a play, and I have to admit, the main character is a male. I’ve only introduced one female character, the title character’s mother. And she is…not likable. I’m a terrible person.
I don’t think a story should have to include women, but film overall has an issue with what importance women have to the story. On that note, I always love a good romance story.
