Hello fellow Pixar freaks! 
So I guess I could write a long “I’m back” post here, but that might bore (and maybe it’s 11:42PM and I don’t want to). Ahhhh… I can tell you I’m getting a nice bit of nostalgia seeing some of the names around here.

Gasduude! You have no idea how happy I was to see you back on Pixar Planet. I really missed you my friend. It is always nice to see one of Pixar Planet’s longtime, loyal members pop back in. I am glad you have returned, even if it was just to post only once. Hopefully, you can come here often like you used to.

As to where I was, basically it was one of those “growing up” times. I was into some things too much, and was forced to back out of some stuff and rethink everything. …yes, I just kind of skirted around the question. But yeah, it’s kind of private.

Seriously, there’s been posts about you and everything inquiring about your absence, but I’m terribly relieved to know that you’re faring well. I can’t promise I’ll be around nearly as often as before, but I’ll drop in. I’m almost… emotional right now. It so darn nice to “hear” you guys again. I had so many good times on this little cranny of the interwebs. Jeez… so many memories.
Whatever happened to JV!? He went under the handle JV IS TIZ!!! PIXAR here on PP. We were running JVPN, - a news blog maybe not quite as good as Upcoming Pixar - but it looks like it’s no longer functional. Did he drop off the face of the Internet like I did?
Oh wow…I can’t remember the last time he appeared here…I think it was before WALL-E even came out.

Ya, so I don’t really know ya, but it’s still great to get another Pixar Planet Veteran.

Concerning JV: Many eons ago, a few young individuals (who were, I believe, previous members of this website) created a mock-up version of Pixar Planet called “Pixar World”. This act of plagiarism got out of hand to the point where the administrators and moderators had to step up and halt the nonsense. Some, if not all, of those who were behind “Pixar World” eventually left Pixar Planet, and I believe that JV was one of them (I think he supported Pixar World, and, unless I’m much mistaken, his younger brother, who went by the screen name of “Texas loves Pixar!” [or something along those lines], was one of the founders of “Pixar World”.) It was a very winded affair; the “war” went on for quite a while, if I recall. The original thread on the matter is probably still in the “Archives” section somewhere, so if I find it I’ll let you know.

Mitch - Actually, I was here when that happened. Or the beginning of it, anyway. It was actually weird for me as I was sort of on both sides. I didn’t steal avatars or whatever, but as an admin of JV Pixar News (and a frequent poster here) I was in a tight spot when the tempers started flaring. Anyway, it all looks so petty in retrospect. That was mid-late '07, I believe, so it’s nearly been two years. That’ll make you feel old!
Welp, hopefully JV will drop by sometime… I miss that dude.

Haha, couldn’t resist. ) I dont’ remember if we’ve officially met or actually talked, but still, I know who you are by having read your posts of the past, and apparently you’ve been gone for so long members have begun to panick. Anyway, welcome back!!
rubs eyes Gasduude! I can’t believe you’re really back! One of the original members of the Pixar Planet Brat Pack! I thought you had a terrible accident or something, 'cause one day you were posting, like a lot every single day, then next you were just gone… So this is unexpected, but a nice surprise. And look, you’re even still wearing the same avatar and signature. Heheh. There was even a speculation thread created last year where we were wondering what had happened to ya.
What have you been up to all this time, if I may ask…? If you don’t want us to know, that’s ok. A lot has changed around here since you last visited, probably: new moderators (including yours truly), two separate revivals of Radio Pixar, Upcoming Pixar merging with Pixar Planet, new fan medium (fan commentaries - feel free to join!), The 2008 Pixar Planet Awards, great members joining up here… so that must be different for you.
Anyways, glad you’re back. I hope you pop in more often from now on - you were always one of my favourite members.

Hello rachel! Thanks for the warm welcome. I heard you on Radio Pixar; your doing a great job with the show.
As to what I was doing/where I was, I’m not really comfortable telling. It’s not like it was all that bad, it’s just one of those things I’d rather not proclaim to the entire internets. Sorry. I can tell I’m extremely happy to be back and see so many of the people I spent quality time with every day. This will always be the best place on the 'nets. 
Yeah, the board has changed a little bit. It seems a little more quiet than I remember,… We’re just 24 hours 'till “Up” rolls out through the USA, but no one seems to be living on the board like I I remember some did for “Ratatouille”. Other than that, the new mods are doing a great job, good Pixar discussion abounds, and nifty stuff like your commentaries is just icing on the cake.
