Adding Pixar Characters to Other Things

hey, i had an idea when i watched the preimire of the mighty b (i like to give new shows a chance). i thought at the end of the first half when the judge finds out Portia’s dog is really a rat and everyone freaks out that it would be funny if remy came on and said
Remy: Excuse me, but us rats have made great advances in the culinary arts!
Emile: You tell ‘m Rem’!

do you guys have any ideas?

LOL that’d depend on whether or not Pixar would like to do that. If they would, I’m all for it!

You mean like Pixar actually lending their characters out or someone attempting to add them in or parody them themselves?

geez, people. i never meant literally ;-p . i just meant if you had any points in movies you thought would be cute to have a pixar characters cameo.

I don’t think there should be any Pixar cameo apperances used by other animations. Let pixar do it own cameo’s and let it stay that way.

WHY THE HECK IS EVERYONE TAKING THIS SO SERIOUSLY?

I don’t think people really know what this thread is about, that’s why. Maybe state it more clearly, again…

I think what Rac Rules is asking, is have we ever been watching a non-Pixar film or some TV show, and thought about how funny or ironic it would be if a certain character from Pixar were to be introduced at that point.

E.g., whilst watching David Attenborough’s last series that focused entirely on reptiles and amphibians, there were numerous occassions where he’d say something to do with reptiles and I could just imagine Randall popping up.

Yes, that was a TV show, and yes Randall’s not technically a reptile, but you get the idea. :stuck_out_tongue:

thank you, lizardgirl. that is exactly what i meant. i in no way meant that pixar should give rights to other companies to have their characters, simply that you may have some times you think would be cute.

Okay then. That’s what I was asking. I was only trying to get that cleared up. In any case, off the top of my head I cant really think of anything that would fit that.

Actually, if you recall this topic on the Boggs Board awhile back, Randall DOES appear, albeit very briefly, in the “Partying is Such Sweet Soiree” episode of Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends". Randall, or an Imaginary version of him, anyway, is briefly seen in the background as Bloo and Mac are entering the rave/house party, and Bloo is telling Mac what’s going on. Neithersparky actually posted a screen cap on the Boggs Board, and it definitely looks like a “Fosterized” version of Randall, complete with head fronds, extra limbs and a curled tail, although the Imaginary Randall’s tail curls the wrong way. I guess it’s like Wilt explains in the pilot; some kids just don’t have much imagination, so they create Imaginary Friends based on characters from favorite tv shows and movies, so what can you do?

There is also an anthromorphic race car character that resembles Lightning McQueen in the episode, “Emancipation Complication”, and while there are differences, the similarities to the characters in Cars can definitely be seen also. And, while not a character per se, I’ve seen that CalArts room number crop up in more than one episode of Foster’s, and if we look hard enough, I’d bet that the Pizza Planet truck could probably be spotted in at least one episode.

thinks Did anybody spot any Pixar characters in that South Park Imaginationland three-parter? I mean someone suggested Remy was in it (though if I recall it was pointed out to be a mouse from Bear in the Big Blue House).

Yep, Nexas. [url]Remy on South Park - Archives - Pixar Planet Forums
