That’s a very good example. I can understand why they had Hades in it- Hades
was too good a character to leave out- but leaving out Meg is a bit strange.

It’s going to be on Disney Channel right? Or toon
Disney?
Now it is
mentioned that Synome is going to be the main villain, anybody want to know any other villains that could be
shown in the series?
Personally, I don’t believe they’ve
announced a series. The sole piece of information is on Wikipedia, and I cannot find head nor tail of anything
elsewhere on the net. Besides, Mr. Incredible and Frozone vs Syndrome is one thing, but how can they reconcile
the Series being an Origin story with Syndrome? It’s more than possible Syndrome wasn’t even born when Mr.
Incredible begun his career.
I’m perfectly content with Mr. Skiperdoo. That much spoofery is enough for
me. Just like comparing Futurama with the Simpsons, not enough is better than too much.
So if there is a TV
Series, it’s for definite that Syndrome will be the main villain? I can understand them wanting to do an origin
story, but like RMS said, Syndrome wasn’t born or was only a child at the beginning of Mr. Incredible’s career,
so they might want to use a different villain or create a new one entirely.
Though people would say
that The Incredibles was left with a possible open-ending, I JUST can’t see how a man can survive being
“cape-d” into a turbine AND falling in a raging inferno atop the Parr’s Residence.
If there is
a TI tv series or a TI2 one day, I either hope there is no Syndrome, or he has a DANG good monologue on how he
lived. And by good, I expect perfect marks in drama, funniness, & grammar . . . .
if there is going to be
a TI2, Syndrome will most definately be not the main villain. I think Bird might go back to his original villain.
Do you guys remember the Xerek character Brad Bird was taling about?
Yes, I remember the Xerek character. He
had a more evil sinister plot I recall Brad saying.
I also heard somewhere that, Bomb Voyage was going to be
the main villain? If you look at that Xerek and Bomb Voyage, they do look alike! Apart from the goatee Xerek has
and Bomb Voyage dosn’t!
Dan.
I don’t remember anything about a Xerek. Was this on an
extra DVD or something?
Xerek was mentioned
in the commentary, but you find out more about him in the art book, along with some concept art. No one really
reacted to his character because he was basically your typical James Bond-type over the top evil scientist
villiany sort. Everyone preferred Syndrome, who’s just so different from the norm and a bit more, I don’t
know, human?
I would love to have seen what they were planning on doing with him, though! ![]()
Sounds interesting…Maybe a traditional villain would
actually really suit a TI TV series.
Syndrome might not be the only villain. He might have
other sub minions with him who are important. Also, there could be a villain who wants to destroy the Incredibles
before Syndrome does.
Maybe there was a villain that started out working for
Syndrome but decided that he wanted to be in charge, and Syndrome’s death gave him this opportunity.
Or maybe the Underminer, Bomb Voyage, Baron von Ruthless
and Syndrome could work together, then argue with each other.
It sounds like Disney might want to mess with the continuity of the Incredibles like they did
in The Hercules TV series.
They set that series in Herc’s Teenage Years with no Meg and they totally
messed up the continuity by having Hades know that Hercules was still alive. If you recall in the movie Hades
only found out that Hercules was still alive after he was an adult.
I never cared for that series as I
thought that setting it in Herc’s teenage years was a monumentally stupid idea. The series would have been soo
much cooler if it picked up where the movie left off and dealt with adult Hercules and had Meg in it. Bringing
Hades back would have been easy, I mean he is a God eventually he had to escape that sea of Lost Souls.
I
just wanted to see Him continue his heroic quest as an Adult. The Whole teenage thing was stupid.
As for
the Incredibles series. It sounds like they want to go back to when Mr. Incredible was single and teamed up with
Frozone. Now this concept is cool. I really dug Mr. Incredibles old costume and I loved the Incredicar. I also
liked his buddy relationship with Frozone. Mr Incredible is my favorite character, so seeing his origins and his
early days as a hero would be ok by me. It would also be cool to see the other Supers before Syndrome killed
them, But here is where it all falls apart, from the sound of it they want to have Syndrome be there totally
messing with the continuity that the film set up.
If they do go with the Glory Days idea then Syndrome can
not be in it for obvious continuity reasons
Picking up where the movie left off would be another great
idea. Focusing on the whole family Dash is my second fave so seeing more of him would be great, but no Syndrome,
not right away anyway, save him for the season finale of the first season.
As long as they get decent
writers and decent animation and at the very least the voice actors from the Rise of the Underminer game.( Bob
and Frozone sound just like Sam Jackson and Craig T Nelson) Also the music is imortant. I would hope they would
use the themes from the film that Michael Giachinno composed and have him and/ or Chris Tilton compose music for
the series as he did adapt the themes for Rise of the Underminer .

Intresting find Dan. Now we got to wait for another year for it to be realesed.
Awesome new!
But is this a true fact or just a rumor? I am hoping a true fact. I am dying to see it.
Hmm, that is pretty interesting…We’ll have to see if
there are any facts to back up this, though.
