Hey all, newby!
It has been rumoured on the net, but
only now on Wikipedia that there is a new series being produced for Disney Channel in fall of 2007.
Here is a
excerpt from Wikipedia:
Disney will produce a new animated series called The Adventures of Mr. Incredible. It
is animated in 2D and features two heroes (Mr. Incredible and Frozone) and one villain (Syndrome). The show will
be on the Disney Channel in Fall 2007.
What you think?
Dan.
Oh, how I hope that’s for real. I know many people
think it would be done poorly, but I’ll take anything Incredibles that I can get.
And if this is really a
go, what about Helen or the kids? You can’t tell me that they wouldn’t include the children in the TV
series.

This rumor’s been around since the film came out - they
just keep updating the year. I’m not holding my breath until I get some decent citation.
Hmm, yeah, there’s no real solid evidence that this
will actually happen, though I am slightly suprised that it hasn’t- The Incredibles was very successful, and
I’m sure that Disney Channel would love to feed off of that success as much as possible.

If this really happens, I’ll support it… well… moreso if it’s the crew who
worked on Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (Schooley, McCorkle, Loter, etc.). They did such a great job with that
series.
That’s true . . . if the Buzz/Kim team is behind it,
it might not be that bad.
But how the heck are they going to explain that Syndrome survived that
cape-incicident??
Maybe he is a Super after all!

Hahaha! When he reveals that he’s alive to Mr. Incredible and Frozone, he’ll start a huge, complicated
monologue about how he survived! I can picture that…
That would be the best. I wouldn’t want the Emperor’s
New School team to be behind it. No siree.
Ahh. Another of the Incredibles
mysteries.
I’ve heard every possible theory for Syndrome’s survival. I’d love it if he made it out of
the explosion alive, but if he didn’t, I wouldn’t be surprised, or terribly disappointed. Some new villains
every now and then might be nice.
And whether or not he does come back (in
the event that there IS a TV series), what about Mirage? Will she come back to the mainland to assist the Parrs,
or will she just disappear never to be heard from again?

This used to be posted on TV
Rage site about this series, but has now been removed.
I recall it mentioning that it was about how Mr
Incredible became a hero, but I may be wrong.
Dan.
Sounds like “Mr. Incredible and Friends” to me… all we need is Mr. Skipperdoo and
we’re set!

Oh, man. I wouldn’t be able to watch it if that were the result.

An Incredibles TV series could work
very well if pulled off right. I would be disappointed if Helen and the kids weren’t in it though - they were
some of my favorite characters!
Oh yeah, and I?d love to see these character designs animated in 2-D, as
I think they work just as well in that medium as CG.
Yeah, they would if drawn in the right kind of style.
OK, found some more info.
This is taken from
Syndrome’s Wikipedia page.
In the upcoming Incredibles series, focusing on Mr. Incredible and Frozone
(like in The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer), Syndrome is the villain of the show. This show could possibly
be a sequel to the Incredibles movie (like in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series that took place after the
Spider-Man movie). This can be a confirmation that Syndrome is indeed alive. The indications that Syndrome is
still alive have generated also speculation that a movie sequel is likely.
If it does happen, it seems
that Helen, Dash, Jack-Jack and Violet will be appearing very little if at all!
Oh, that bunny
DID get on my nerves. But it was flat out funny!!
I’ll support an Incredibles
Series. But I hope on some episodes, they focus on the kids or Helen.
It would seem pretty weird for them to just get rid of so many main characters
that so many fans like.
Yeah, I imagine they’ll keep the full family in. The Hercules TV series really
shocked me when they cut Meg out of it but kept in Hades… Wasn’t the point of the finale of the movie that
Hercules didn’t know who Hades was…?
I’m sure they will put the other
characters as minor characters. And maybe on some episodes, it wiill be all about them. For instance, Violet is
going to win this big award for hero work or something, and everyone in her family is going to watch. Everyone
except Bob that is. And Violet would feel so sad for being neglected. Just an idea.
