Ahh... Pixar's Little Details

So, with the wonderful world of HD and 1080p, I was able to notice that Pixar left little red marks in Linguini’s hand from Remy’s bites.
His hands have freckles :astonished:

Also, try to watch the 2nd trailer in 1080p if you can. Pixar animated Remy’s little heart beats when he is discovered cooking. :3

Also, in the scene where Linguini is at the bridge with Remy, Pixar added fingerprints and Linguini’s reflection in the jar.

Linguini has a beard

In the scene where Remy is geting away with Skinner’s documents, you can read part of the letter. The text is there!

OMG The trailer looks SO beautiful in 1080p. Everything looks so detailed…ARGH! I can’t wait for this to come out in Blu-ray!!!

Watch it here: apple.com/trailers/disney/ratatouille/hd/

wow! great observation

Thanks for the pics Leonarduille. The knife marks were brought up in some other topic, but thanks for the shots anyway!

Ha! Yeah, I saw that it 1080p too! :stuck_out_tongue:

Proves the Pixar-Elite heh.

Yeah. I can’t believe how much work goes into these films… I guess I knw now

Oh, yeah… I know it’s kinda weird, but I love his little goatee! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

I only noticed that Linguini had a goatee very recently when I was reading my copy of The Art of Ratatouille . Strange, I didn’t know that when I was watching the film for the first time.

Next time you guys watch the movie keep an eye out for Anton’s fangs. One more detail to add to his grim reaper-y character design. He’s like a little food-lovin’ vampy.

Ya I noticed that when I flip through the pictures on pixar.com

Oh linguini’s little tiny goatee <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Hasn’t Mitch, before the movie was released, started a Ratatouille topic on the details of Ratatouille? Because those images look very familiiar from a topic a while ago.

Leonarduille - Nice observation! Many of these facts have been brought up in the past, but it’s always nice to observe/discuss them again.

I really do love the attention to detail that Pixar included in this particular production (and in all of their films, for that matter). Remy’s beating heart probably has to be the most down-to-earth-in-detail feature I have ever seen in a computer animated film. Simply fantastic…

There really are so many things to explore and discover in Pixar films, especially in Ratatouille. I’ve seen so many little nuances and hidden features in that one film alone that I can’t even began to describe them all (especially noting as I’ve forgotten most of them – heheh).

But yeah. Nice observation!

The Star Swordsman - As a matter of fact, I did. However, that particular thread is long gone, so it makes sense for someone to start a new and similar topic of conversation.

Ah, I see Mitch. I knew it looks familiar.
