Something has made me think. What if there was a film where all the main characters from each feature film had a crossover and all met each other? What do you think that would be like?
It would be strange, but interesting to read I think.
I think that might already exist, but it’s a good idea in any case.
I think one of our members did a comic of that last year or the year before… can’t remember who it was. I think it got nominated for a Pixar Planet Award.
That reminds me of that insipid show “Drawn Together” where cartoon character parodies are in a reality show. It’s be cool to see a fanfic of that but only Pixar characters.
I got it: A House of Mouse equivalent called Cafe Luxo. The premise would be that Luxo Jr, Tinny, and all of the classic original PIXAR Shorts characters are running a cafe in Pixar Animation Studios for all of PIXAR’s characters. In between, they would show PIXAR shorts, Toy Story Toons, Cars Toons and any other short animated features from PIXAR.
TDIT: Archibald wrote the comic. I think it was called Crossover, it was really good.
Pixar Builder: That would be awesome!
Oddly, I’ve had thoughts on this: but where they all discover they are technically fictional characters rather than trying to crossover in the other sense. They were all in this space and simply told “Oh, you’re not real, and other people will be joining you soon!”
Several characters have existentional crises. Namely Waternoose and Syndrome from what I remember. And while Randall didn’t go as off the deep end as him he hated it too at first. But eventually over the years they had to get along.
And if you were from the same movie you had to live in the same house. (Because pointless drama is fun! … D: )
Oh and years later a teenage!Boo got tricked by a Disney Villian (I think it was Jafar) into having this spell after she got sick of Mike and Randall arguing ALL THE TIME, and everyone switched bodies for a while even though Boo and Sulley getting caught in it was an accident. (Boo ended up in Randall’s body, Sulley in Mikes, Randall in Sulley’s body and Mike in Boo’s, in the latters case he was freaked out, majorly.
As did Boo when for a time they thought it might be permanent.
As Boo was growing up, she was friends with Jack-Jack and Russell too (who also grew) and she had a crush on TS3’s Andy.
And Sulley and Randall kept losing at poker with the Woody and Buzz.
Randall once fixed one of the Cars people.
And Mirage, Celia, Helen and Violet went shopping once.
That was a very odd day dream. So many weird cliches, so little time.
I sometimes worry myself.
I remember I used to watch House of Mouse. That would be a great idea. I’ve also given that Crossover comic a look. It was pretty good, and I’d love to see Archibald make another one.
And Mentalguru, that’s funny. I like the idea of Boo, Jack-Jack and Russell being friends as babies. Like you said, pointless drama IS fun.
Are you going to make that Pixar Builder? because I like that idea it seems really cool.
I’d like to see something like that, no matter how weird.
I could invest more time in my idea, I’d you guys would really be interested. I like the Comic Format that Bryko614 suggested, so I might be able to do something like that.
Where can I find this comic?
It should be located in the Fan Art section of the forums. I haven’t read that comic in a long time. I need to check it out again.
LOL.
Basically the only way to make Jack-Jack a more terrifying babysitting experience would be to throw Boo in there too probably. She has no super powers- but she doesn’t need them! They’d just be holding her back, wouldn’t they? But yeah she’s a kid with a talent for disappearing and is extremely curious. That’s going to result in trouble. Sure she’s a good girl when she wants to be, but that’s part of the deception! You leave her to colour/draw, then you try to stop Jack-Jack doing something and she’d be gone just like that!
Russell as a baby? He’d probably almost injure himself even from little things. I don’t know, I somehow see Boo and Jack-Jack doing certain things unscathed but if baby!Russell tried to copy them, he’d be in more trouble. Plus he’d try to be ‘helpful’ maybe and look for Boo too if he was a toddler and get into trouble of some description, or go off on whatever adventure Boo had planned/improvised himself even if at first he was just looking for her.
It would be like Rugrats on steroids wouldn’t it?
Oh YES, i would love to see this.
Man, i need to read that comic searchs
Sounds more or less like my model railroad concept I’m designing.
The Crossover comics I did (yes, there are two of them), are in the Fan Art section, in the “Archibald’s sketches” topic. There’s a link in my signature, which gets you to the first post of the topic ; and there, there are links for every page.
Nice to see that even though I’m not on the forum as much as I used to be, some people still remember me
Wow, what an unexpected return. Just wanted to say you did a great job on those comics. The drawing were really good and the story was well-written. It would be cool to see you do another.
Geoff-uk1234 : Well thank you
I actually had an idea for a third Crossover, but I never had the courage to start drawing it. Maybe it will happen one day, but I’m currently working on a big writing prject, and it’s eating my time.
