I saw another TV spot today, my dad walked in and asked “Is that Dreamworks?”
Ooh. Ouch. Really? I mean, I really think Dreamworks has very gorgeous animation. Just that sometimes…the plot’s not that good.
This movie’s got 1 fresh review and 2 rotten on RT if anyone cares.
Yeah, their animation isn’t really that bad, it’s their stories that aren’t the best.
Except now that I think about it, he thinks almost any other 3D animated film that’s not Pixar is Dreamworks.
Just saw it. Here is my review.
It was’nt all that childish. In fact it had a lot of adult jokes.
Kate [spoil]accually does’nt really hate Humphry. She just saw him as a friend.[/spoil]
The potty humor was pretty nill and not as exsessive as it was in the trailers.
There’s a bit of a mix of Happy Feet in here where [spoil]singing signified you had a mate.[/spoil] I accually liked it.
It had a totaly diffrent feel when watching it as to seeing the trailers. The animation was’nt even that bad, in my opinion.
I do recomend it, but its my opinion.
Whoa, I did not realize that it was out!
It just came out today (friday the 17th)
“Consensus: With bland visuals and a dull, predictable plot, Alpha and Omega is a runt in 2010’s animated litter.”
rottentomatoes.com/m/alpha_and_omega/
Currently at a 13% approval rate. Ouch. Can’t say I expected it to be liked, though.
Basil: Ouch. Well, I saw that coming a mile away.
It’s nice to see you’re open minded about it, Zenoah (and even like it to an extent!).
Well, can’t comment on quality till I’ve seen it. All I’ll say is, it’s certainly not this underdog (or wolf)'s day.
It really was’nt all that bad, and I was hardly bored with it. Kate’s mother is a riot and has some pretty strong threats that made one parent ask almost aloud if it was a kids movie.
And the hair kinda added character to each one.
It was also nice to hear the wolfs have human names as opposed to hard sounding names most wolfs are blessed it.
Even thou a lot of people did’nt like it, I still recomend it…
I have had nothing but disdain for this movie since it was announced. I never laughed, and never even smiled. I’m dead serious, I never had any enthusiasm for this movie.
As close-minded as I may seem posting this, I’m glad to see that this movie was put in its’ place.
Then again, I’m probably just having my taste in animated movies spoiled after Toy Story 3. But it’s good to know it’s not just me who doesn’t like the film.
I may download it once I am VERY bored.
just learnt how to download movies yay
shame on me but oh well
I buy the good ones, though
I’m curious, is there anyone else here on Pixar Planet who are planning on seeing this movie in theaters?
I am considering it if it ever gets a release here. Are you thinking the same thing, ellie-jessie-eve?
No defintely not. The movie doesn’t interest me, but more importantly, I have no money! I am broke.
Hm… Fairy 'Nuff.
It looked decent I suppose, but I just checked the reviews today. A 15% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Ouch. After that, I can happily say that I won’t be seeing it.
I find it unsurprising though that Cole Smithey (Infamous for giving Toy Story 3 a negative review) gave it a positive review. I can only imagine what the results would be if Armond White reviewed it. As well as praising it, he’d just find another excuse to bash Pixar.
I was almost afraid this movie would be half-decent. Thank God it only scored 15%, now I will definetally watch it when it comes out on DVD. (with nitpicking/making-fun-of commentary of course).
Regardless of what people say about this, I might actually go see this.
I Love Wolves !!!
Definitely doing the same.
