Andy In Toy Story 3

Ok hey guys I’m new to these forums but I was wondering do you think that the ending of toy story 3 was “bad” for Andy or good for him. In my opinion I think it was good for him at first I was felling sorry for him but then i thought about it and came to the conclusion that it was good for him because hes going to college and is gonna have fun and other stuff like get a girlfriend. Lol. So what do you think. Also I was wondering if these are the offical forums run by Pixar. Cause if it is I had a idea of showing how andys doing in college so yeah. Thanks for reading :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi WhySoCereal9! I love your username, by the way.

No, these forums aren’t ran by Pixar. It was created by fans for fans.

I think the ending was great for Andy, it brought the perfect closure for his childhood, and I know he loved helping out and making another toy lover happy!

yeah your right but ill still like to see more of him, mabye after the Hawii short pixar could make a short showing his life in college, i no lots of people who would love that

I like Andy and all, but I wouldn’t like a short that was revolved around him without his toys. It’s Toy Story after all.

As with a lot of Pixar films, it’s a little bittersweet, but ultimately good. Other people have pointed out how growth and change and letting go/moving on are constant themes through Pixar’s stories, and those are basic experiences we all go through and can relate to. And I think that Andy would probably stop by and visit Bonnie when he came home for Christmas/summer breaks, so it really wouldn’t be “goodbye forever.”

I don’t see Pixar doing any “Andy at College” stories - but that’s what fan fiction is for!

Yeah ive noticed that alot in Pixar Movies

But regarding toy story, im not sure why im so worried about andy, lol
ive just grown so attached to the series but i did find what you said reassuring the part ( Andy would probably stop by and visit Bonnie when he came home for Christmas/summer breaks, so it really wouldn’t be “goodbye forever.”)
I also heard somewhere that Bonnie lives close to Andy is this true

I think it was good. He passed his toys down to a new kid to enjoy for a while and he know he can’t hold on to the past.
