KVK was on cable tonight and I caught part of it- when they show Billy’s room with the clouds and the white dresser, the first thing I thought about was Andy’s room from TS. Billy’s corkboard on the wall is similar to Andy’s, with drawings etc on it.

Hard to say without seeing it, but I want to say its just a cliché concept. purely coincidental.
I remember that room! It’s possible that the KvsK room did inspire them… Maybe it’s in the recesses of their minds and they don’t even realize it.
I just saw this movie last night! 
I think it’s really similar. But in Billy’s room, the clouds are bigger, and wider. It’s the same idea, but like others said, I don’t think it was a direct reference.
