I don’t know if anyone else has been paying attention to this but I find the whole thing rather fascinating.
It seems that an adventurous globe-trotting artist named Ryan Estrada is attempting to complete a full-length animated film in exactly one month. He started on Dec 1st and hopes to finish by Jan 1st. I’m simply blown away by the ambition alone. Let’s not even start on the fact that he actually looks to be making decent progress.

It doesn’t look like it’s going to be the best movie in the world. It might not even be that good. But the watching the process of it all come together is entertaining enough. I wish him the best of luck on his endeavor.

Very interesting idea. It almost sounds like a filmakers version of nanowrimo almost (you know when you write at least 50,000 words in total for a month).
Just like in the case of Nano, the things is yes, it won’t be perfect (well duh) but it’s to get you started because a lot of people have the ideas half formed but never get round to it. I’ve never been in Nano. (November is a TERRIBLE month for it to happen on) but it’s a good idea.
Still this is kind of even more ambitious, this would not just involve writing but various other things too, of course this probably involves a team too, but still.
I’ve done NaNo for 5 years and still have yet to come close to cracking 50,000 words. Makes me feel like such a loser when all my pals do it with what seems like an incredible amount of ease.
I have beaten its sister contest Script Frenzy though.
I can’t wait to see where he goes from here though. The ideas he talked about in his most recent update sound pretty interesting. And if this is just a warm-up act, I can’t wait to see the headliners.

Thanks for mentioning the project, folks! No, there’s not a team, it’s just me. I’m hoping the end product will be good, and fun to watch! (But yeah, there’s always the chance I will fail miserably and everyone will hate it!)

First clip surfaces online
Though he missed the deadline by a few days, Estrada was still able to complete all animation by the end of December. Now all we have to do is wait for post-production and release.
Judging by this clip, it looks like we’re in for a fun ride. A post-modern sci-fi Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid as it seems.
Haha, I actually liked the clip a lot more than I expected to. This should be very interesting.
It’s a shame he didn’t complete it in a literal month, but I still can’t wait to watch it. 
I really liked that clip, and I enjoyed the animation. I can’t wait to see the full thing, I can’t believe he got it done!
