I need The Angry Beavers on DVD.
While the Garfield movies failed both animated series are great. The first (Garfield and friends) was the best. Got the first two volumes on dvd.

I remember Garfield and Friend’s. they used to play the Christmas special every year, do they still do that?

I don’t remember the Christmas special, but I do remember the show.
I remember an old Garfield show on Boomerang, but wasn’t too interested. Sigh… What good reason do they have for stuff like The Garfield Show on Boomerang now? It’s not like it’s cancelled or anything… 
Yeah, I remember him. I loved the trumpet sound he made after saying “on NICK JR.!”

Wonderpets wonderpets were on our way. That was kindof recent but not bad.

That guy freaked me out.
It isn’t as brilliant or charming as Garfield and friends (partly due to the fact that it is in cgi idk I just prefer traditonal animation). But it is an improvement from the two movies. Both movies tried though. The first one had it’s momements and even acted like the strip at times, but everyone being real but Garfield was just strange. But I enjoyed it.
The second one had a lousy plot (really the prince and the pauper plot?) and was just bad.
The tv show has more of the humor Grafield’s fans know and low. Just wish his lips didn’t move.
I wish they still aired that show, it did stay more true to the comic.
I think everyone I know who’s my age (mid 20s) misses quality Saturday morning cartoons. If any of that stuff was still on today, I would accomplish nothing on Saturday mornings.
Even Doug and Recess, which weren’t exactly brilliant, were better than the demented crap that’s on tv these days. I sound like an old grouch, but it’s true!
And what about classic Disney shorts? Thank God for YouTube! Does anyone know if you can buy DVDs of those Donald Duck (and company) shorts?

We grew up to the stuff we love that stuuf changed and we didnt like the new stuff. Yeah maybe it isnt as good to us but for those kids that love tv today wont love the stuff theyre putting on tommorrow, as the generations of people go by the different things get, look how far the world has come, theres good and bad. And the Bad being the Tv ‘Geniuses’
