Does anyone here like Flapjack? I think I do have to agree it’s a love it or hate it show, maybe with more people hating it…

Somewhat. There are a lot of references to some of the original shorts, and characters are faithful to their personalities. But the characters are in much different situations and friendships.

I believe it does. It does a great job staying true to the characters while providing something new and original that makes it different from the golden aged cartoons. It’s one of my favorite cartoons that I watch.

As some people consider Nick going downhill, I apparently heard Fanboy and Chum Chum is one of their worst shows in years. Is that right?

I’m 12, and I’m part of the “Pephirary Hatedom”. (Hatedom from an audience it was never supposed to appeal to in the first pklace.

Speaking of The Last Airbender, I knew that once that show left nickelodeon, it was gonna go down hill from there.

Well, I wouldn’t say they just flat out suck. I think terrible would best describe them. I guess I’ll do my thoughts on the three main kids channels. I’m gonna try not to turn this into a rant.
Cartoon Network has been ok lately. Theres some decent shows on there like The Regular Show and The Looney Tunes. It’s pratically the best kids channel.
Disney Channel I rarely watch so I can’t say much about it. From what I seen, Phineas and Ferb has been pretty decent. It seems like a fast paced show that kids would enjoy.
Nickelodeon is flat out terrible. I remember back in the 90’s there was good shows like All That, Kennan and Kel, Rugrats, and The Amanda Show. Now we got to put up with shows like iCarly, True Jackson, Big Time Rush, and Victorious. I know one of those shows (dont remember which) uses those annoying soundtracks. It just bothers me how they play it every five seconds at something that isn’t funny. I haven’t watched Nick in months so I don’t know if they added any new shows. I remember around 5-6 years ago I used to be a big fan of shows on Nick like Drake and Josh and Ned’s Declassified. Anyway, Nick is probably the worst channel out of the main three.
Does PBS still count as a kids channel? I remember it had Arthur back in the day which was a great show. Of course I haven’t watched Arthur in years but I remember that show used to be fun to watch everyday. It sometimes teaches us about certain real life situations.
Yes, those are the only two modern gems.
Hey, what about Scooby Doo, Mystery Inc?
