Haha, nice find there. I had to look back at the trailer. I also never knew that Buzz ran on batteries till I saw the trailer in theaters. o_O Of course it makes sense because of the type of toy that he is, but I don’t recall them ever showing or mentioning the fact that he needs batteries.
Some more references I caught in the new trailer:
There’s a baseball banner on Andy’s wall that says “P.U.” P.U. = Pixar University?
One of Andy’s stickers on his wall is a KRAT FM sticker, which is the same sticker that was on the back of the Pizza Planet truck in TS1.
Another one of Andy’s posters has a bunch of moster hands reaching to the center of the poster, looking very much in the style of the 2D intro to Monsters Inc.
One of the bowling pins from Red’s Dream is in Andy’s toybox.
The Super Nintendo that was on top of Andy’s TV in TS2 is on a shelf under his TV in the trailer.

I re-looked at the trailer and have been seeing everything you guys are pointing out and I found something.
Ok, some of you might know this already, but I feel like pointing it out. In the scene where Woody gets up on the desk and looks around Andy’s now Toy-less room pay attention to the awards behind Woody. One of them has Andy’s real name, Andrew.
I heard that his name was Andrew, but I never thought that it was true… I just thought it was something worth pointing out.
Nice find. I had no idea Andy wasnt his real name.

About 15 minutes ago Disney went on a copyright frenzy and deleted every TS3 trailer off Youtube. They might as well just give up…
Its just a page back in this very thread. 
Anyway, download finally finished. looks fantastic. now I have nothing TS3 related to lookforward to for a good while. except a few posters and such.
I cant seem to spot the andrew thing mentioned, all awards and certificates Ive seen so far say Andy.
I started trying to read a letter I found in the storage box, but its kind of hard to make out.
On the height chart can anyone make out the one at the very bottom? Im probably seeing things but it seems like it says Swan Butt or something. haha

Andrew should be found literally behind Woody at around :55. As Woody is climbing up, you’ll see the award right behind him. It should be right by his head as he is swinging his leg up the desk.
I can’t make out what that says either! It looked like “Singing Butt” to me!

This doesn’t have much to do with the trailer, but as we can tell Andy’s into Baseball. You guys know that easter egg where Woody throws a pitch? ( here it is for those who might not) Well I cant help but this this was a dream Woody has had, maybe more than once over the years while in storage. He dreams of being able to play with Andy again. Maybe we’ll see this, or similar dreams of Woody doing various things, like soccer, bowling etc with Andy in the movie, or as shorts.
Another Pixar reference I found staring at the 1080p version (spoilers for Up):

It’s sort of to the top left of Woody’s head. You can only really see it in 1080p. It’s written in light purple on a white postcard.
Aaah, I see it now, it’s kinda hidden away there. That’s definitely a good find.

The trailer was a lot to take in. I like the fact that Pixar has decided to keep with the times and not try to keep Andy young. And now I want to know, how are they going to escape the Day CarePreschool? (For Mr. Potato Head’s sake .)
But yea, not that I have seen the new Trailer. I’m truly Psyched for Toy Story 3. June 18, 2010 can’t come fast enough!
