Archibald's sketches

Great job! It’s awesome art and fantastic fanfiction all in one! Way to pack a lot of mystery and grab one’s attention in so little time. I will be looking foward to see what happens next!

Thanks lizardgirl and bright dot-dasher

Another update, but not Crossover this time : link.
It’s just pencil for now ; maybe I’ll ad colors to it next week end.

Archibald Those pictures are (Will Try to put my GCSEs to good use) Trés Magnifique, they’re really really great… They make me want me to grab a sketch pad now…
although I do have a week off from university, and only 2 assignments to try and do… only One needing completion this week… May have some spare time laying around…

I loved the crossover page and the Up picture you drew archibald. Excellent work. ALl that wait was worth it. Keep it up.

That lineart of Up is so good, Archibald! The characters, especially Carl and Russell, look just like they are in the trailer, and it’s great that you’ve paid so much attention to detail with Russell’s backpack. Dug’s teeth and tongue don’t look quite right, but once this is coloured in a lot more depth will be added anyway. Looking forward to seeing this one completed!

Archibald - As lizardgirl stated, the line art in your latest drawing is wonderful. The attention to detail and proportions is lovely, and I’m sure that those aspects of the drawing will only be enhanced once the composition is completed.

Nice work!

– Mitch

And there it is : my Up fanart with added colors on the characters

Nice! Great use of color. I love Carl’s expression. Great job!

Archibald - Nice work! I particularly like how you colored Dug and Mr. Fredricksen’s clothes.

– Mitch

There’s enough contrast in the colouring to add a bit of depth, and although I’m not usually keen on dark outlines, it actually works really well with this piece, giving it a really nice cartoony feel. Good work, Archibald!

Ahh, borrowing a page from the original Incredibles opening I see :laughing: But in any case, good start in this…sequel was it? Yeah I think so…been awhile ^_^;
Still love the design work on the human characters, you have a knack for that.
Glad Ran’s back in it…though I have thoughts about what will happen eventually :unamused: But for that…surprise me

Well colored Archibald.

Page 6 of Crossover 2 : link.

Kuddos to the first one who’ll notice what’s to be noticed

Dude Archibald, this is so far the most intense page you have drawn. [spoil]It seems that Adam has now got the most deadly weapon against the supers[/spoil]. But we’ll see what happens in the next page. Good luck. i love it. Keep it up.

Great detail capture and coloring on your Up fanart!
And this page of Crossover 2 is taut with intensity. It looks like [spoil]Adam’s seems to be ready for whoever’s coming against him[/spoil]. Good job.

Very intense! The lack of colour makes the blood seem really shocking and so it stands out even more. I hope [spoil]Jack-Jack’s going to be okay[/spoil]! Good work, Archibald.

The Star Swordsman and bright dot-dasher : thanks for the kind comments
It’s funny that the two of you think that [spoil]the thing Adam gives to Jack-Jack could be something specifically designed for the Supers. For me, it’s just a powerful sedative[/spoil] ; but maybe I should have been more clear

lizardgirl : thanks ; I guess the key-word for this page was “intense”
I agree that [spoil]the blood stands out, but I didn’t make it red just for it to be shocking. I can’t tell you now why I did that, but there’s a particular reason. Every time you see colors in Crossover, it means something. Like, in the last page of the first Crossover, when you saw this colored picture of Adam and Rick Dicker, I wanted to tell that the relationship they had was a sincere and powerful one. It meant something in the story. Now, the red blood… well, you’ll find out soon enough…

It’s a little clue of what’s coming next. There are other clues in this page, like : why didn’t Adam use his power to stop Jack-Jack ? Another thing you should look at more closely : last image, page 2 of Crossover 2.[/spoil]

Okay now, there’s another thing about this page. Here’s what I meant by “Kuddos to the first one who’ll notice what’s to be noticed” : there’s a clear Ratatouille reference. Come on, you can do it !

Archibald: After your post, I have a couple things to say.

[spoil]So you are saying that Adam put in a sedative in Jack-Jack instead of a chemical that negates his powers? Hmm, I didn’t expect that.

As for what you wanted us to notice, my guess is Adam’s last line is a line Chef Skinner says after he captures remy?[/spoil]

The Star Swordsman : Yes to the first : [spoil]it just puts “angry Jack-Jack” to sleep, and since he’s no longer conscient, he just turns back into “classic Jack-Jack”.[/spoil]

And yes to the second. We have a winner !!! I just replaced [spoil]“chef” with “Super” and “rat” with “baby”.[/spoil] Congrats, TSS

The blood to me looked like what they did in the movie Sin City, where…I think everything that was red WAS red and everything else was black/white/gray
