The Incredibles 2 for sure i dont see any other movie having potential for a sequel other then the incredibles honestly i didnt think cars needed a sequel.

As excited as I am for Cars 2, I have to agree with you. I have no doubt that the money Cars rakes in from merchandise was a deciding factor. Same thing with Princess and the Frog. Great fantastic movie. However, one reason it was made was to bring another princess in the lineup that could rake in money for merchandising as well.

Yes, I am excited for this sequel. No, I’m not feeling pumped just yet. Not really sure why. I remember saying “I can’t wait” back when TS3 was announced a few years ago, but somehow, when I watched the Cars 2 trailer, I said to myself how great it looked and that I’d definitely be booking seat for it when June '11 hits, but at the same time I felt all too laid-back watching it. The way a casual observer would feel, where it’s just kinda there. Maybe I should give it a wait- movie doesn’t come out for another while and I’m bounded to get more excited when it’s only a week away

I don’t know if it was the eyeroll or the spoiler or Mater that gave me the impression that you were trying to start up something, the whole sentence was very unessesary. Especially since no one has mentioned Mater for a while.

Anyway, yeah…I agree with ellie-jessie-eve. Let’s stop hate-talking specific movies and characters. That’s an excellent way to make enemies, get banned, etc.

2 come to my mind, and one was really bad. Not a spammer, just someone with a bad attitude and a lot of hate.
Like IV, 2 come to my mind. The first was antagonistic and verbally attacked a few of our members, and he even came back a second time under a different name. We gave him a second chance, but unfortunately he didn’t change his ways. The second is a model-maker who tried to solicit his wares here, even though it’s against forum policy. He has threatened several of our mods with litigation, but so far he hasn’t pressed charges yet.
Anyway, expression of resentment for something probably isn’t going to get you banned, though we do look at the way how it’s phrased and whether it’s vindictive. Rule of thumb is to be nice to everyone while still stating your opinion politely.
Am i excited? I’d say “i’m not sure”,but it’s Pixar so…I trust Pixar enough,
and i say "yes,i am ".
I was a bit sceptical of “Cars 2” movie after i saw the trailer for the first time. Because i’m tired of spies and secret agents.Becides,i’ve been also disappointed when i’ve heard this phrase :"They are racing to save the world " .I was like :“No! …not this again.Let the Incredibles family save the world and make “Incredibles 2” in that case” (“Incredibles” movie is one of my favourite movies also)
And pixar movies has always had a unique story and elements of philosophy.I had an impression this movie may become “action oriented”.
And “Cars-1” was more “philosophy-oriented” movie.
But I rewatched the trailer again later and i was like “hey,maybe i was wrong about Cars 2”…
I mean, we can always watch Cars 1,Up movie,Ratatoule and so on(and we will get even more in the future) if we want a "philosophy-oriented"movie. Maybe it’s time for a good “action oriented” movie now, made by Pixar.But I’m sure (or i really hope) that Cars 2 will still have not action elements only but an interesting and intriguing story,unique characters with live personality,character-development moments, elements of comedy with smart humor,romance, and i hope Cars 2 will become another great “family movie”.
We should wait for the movie-release to make our personal final decision.
But I always try to be optimistic,that why i’m excited about sequel 
I am excited for Cars 2, but I am actually in agreement with Happy Lighter. An Incredibles sequel could be more appropriate for the espionage and Bond-ness we see in the Cars trailer.
But, I think the point is that this is completely different from Cars. Like a totally new episode, which I appreciate. They shouldn’t just make the same movie over and over again.

And that’s why i said,that Cars-1 was more “philosophy-oriented”(based on one person’s character-development “Lightning McQueen”,not action),and Cars 2 will be more “action oriented” (spies and secret agents,more racing and saving the world)

Yeah, maybe Mater and Holly will have a cute moment like Lightning and Sally had in the original. I would like both couples to get some screen time.

Personally, I don’t see why Sally and Light can’t have as much time as Holly and Mater. I think they should give both some screen, because the Lightning/Sally pairing has a pretty defined fanbase. Sort of like what they did for the Jessie/Buzz fans in TS3, but with a legit kiss.
Yea…Lightning and Sally even have their own Fanlisting website for cryin out loud!!..that would make the movie evn cuter…put both couples in equally!!
