I don’t like to think I am wierd. More along
the answer of. . . unique. I am unique instead of normal.
I am because everyone’s weird in one way or another, whether they like it or not. Hope that
doesn’t offend anyone but when you think about it, it’s true. Even being completely normal is weird. xD
i hear ya.
I
agree with teh everyone is weird bit. It’s so true.
I’m the kind of person who people tend to stare
at/run away from on a regular basis.
-ahem-
Seriously, there’s always at least one person away
that does. Probably doesn’t help that my friends’ and I’s ideas of what’s funny for other people is
‘weird’… like chasing a bouncy ball outside… or playing with balloons in homeroom… singing songs with
weird lyrics outloud and loudly… that kinda thing.
I’m weird and its fun!

I don’t think of myself as weird because weird is my
normal. Normal people are the weird ones. ![]()
People think I’m weird because I collect toys, enjoy
animated movies, and don’t drink, but that just means I’m weird in their eyes. I
never meet people with similar tastes outside my online life, which is really
weird.
~~=oP
But of course – my sister and I are some of
the weirdest people on the planet, and we are quite proud to say so, if I do say so myself. (snigger)
The
thing is that, in a weird person’s eyes, normal people are the strange ones. And, in a sense, everyone in the
universe is odd because they have their own unique tastes, preferences, and ways of doing things that suit their
personality, which makes them look “weird” in the eyes and minds of other people (who are also weirdoes
themselves, even though they don’t know it).
I’ve noticed that a person may call someone else
“weird” because they just don’t know what else to say about that person. For example, people call me
weird because I’m – and I’m not bragging here – intelligent. Of course, I also run around on all fours and
quote movies all the time, but that’s different. ![]()
PixarVixen - Ditto. I
have the exact same problem, according to your last sentence there.
Not to mention, it’s fun to say,
“Thank you. So are you”, to someone after they call you “weird”. ![]()
‘Weird’ kind of has to be
defined. What does ‘weird’ mean? Does it mean that when you meet someone, ninety nine times out of a hundred
you don’t share their interests? Does it mean that you do something that you’ve never heard anyone else do? Is
it a positive or negative thing?
I guess I could consider myself ‘weird’, but as has been said
previously, everyone is weird in their own way. If we all weren’t, then the world would be a very boring place.

To me, a normal person is boring.
What special abilities/traits would he have? If he had any, he wouldn’t be normal.
Yep, I agree. In fact,
whatever hobbies you have that you consider to be “normal” may seem “weird” to others. Or the
same for your clothes, or your way of walking, or whatever.

today i asked my friend if she was wierid she said no. and i said I am. but she
said no i wasn’t weird so i’m like whatever. ![]()
But wierd people are pretty cool
i mean do you
want someone boring?
Honestly…I’m the weirdest person you will ever lay your eyes on.
I’m always being picked on at school, and I’m the only one in my class who likes
Syndrome!
Hypergalaxy - First of all: Welcome to
Pixar Planet! ![]()
Secondly, I’m sorry to hear that you get picked on at your
school, but just be advised that you are definitely not the only Syndrome fan in the universe. There are many
other people who have the same interest(s) as you, so don’t give up hope. ![]()
You think that is wierd Hypergalexy? I am practically in love
with the Incredibles, (including Violet and Helen). So you are definetly not alone.
Not to mention I get made fun of because I can draw , cars , fish , and rats pretty dang good
and I have some posted in my locker ! You’re not alone . ![]()
Oh yeah?
I’m probably the only person in my whole /school/ who likes Cars and the DRH. ![]()
You should be proud of
how weird you are.
I think i’m pretty lucky when
it omes to being picked on at school. My school is a pretty open-minded school.
Personally, I think you should be happy for who you are. If you are wierd or unique, then be
happy. If others call you wierd, don’t let that bother you.
(A little philosophy I learned from
Dash.)
Well I agree 100% with you and
Dash on that statement, The Star Swordsman. It has
taken me years of wisdom from my parents to finally get it through my head that it doesn’t matter how strange,
weird, or “out-moded” you are – it’s what’s inside that counts.
