Arthur Christmas

doesn’t look very good.

It’s too early to judge from a teaser. The only issue is how many muscles are in the characters’ faces, because the elf doesn’t move a whole lot or have a wide range of expressions.

When I first heard about this over a year ago, I thought it was gonna be the big screen adaption of the Arthur cartoon.

lol, that’s what I thought too, until I saw the trailer.

Meh, not too impressed. But there’s not a lot to judge from either, guess we’ll have to wait for more plot details and other trailers.

I love Aardman, so I’m really looking forward to this

has anyone seen the more recent trailers?

i think it looks like a good movie!

Looks pretty decent. It looks to be the best animated release this month since Happy Feet Two is getting negative reviews at the moment.

Isn’t this that Christmas movie that uses a song by Justin Bieber?
Not that I’m saying it can’t still be good or anything. 8D

Yep. One of Bieber’s songs will be in this movie judging by the commercials.

It’s a great little film . I’ll put a full review up later.

I probably won’t see it now! 8D

It doesn’t matter to me that one of his songs are going to be in the film. I don’t like him but it doesn’t matter to me if it’s only one song.

I would like to see this one.

Ah, I figured. 8D Again, that doesn’t personally affect my opinion of it as a film, though. I am still interested in seeing it

I was just kidding btw

Yeah, but I was just stating my opinion on one of his songs being in the film.

The most recent trailer actually intersts me in the movie. Which is saying something, because I’m not a huge fan of Christmas movies. Well, any in the past 20 years that is.

Nothing really interests me about this movie as I might write it off as an ordinary Christmas movie. In fact, we haven’t really seen any good ones since Elf.

Well the reports are in, and we loved the film - it is completely charming and the script is very sharply written.

Our overall consensus was: With brilliant animation from Aardman and a story that is as wonderfully humorous as it is heartfelt, Arthur Christmas is filled with the true spirit of the season and is destined to become a holiday classic. **** (Out of 4)

I’m actually really interested in seeing this. Good luck convincing my parents on that, they’ll probably think it’s dumb and won’t let me go. :unamused:

Anyway, one of my friends on Twitter, who is a HUGE Pixar/Disney enthusiast, saw this film and said it was really good. She told me I should especially go see it because Arthur reminded her of Alfredo and she said I’d love it. I’m not really into Christmas movies either, but this looks like one I might try to see.
