Did you really? That is SO cool! I would love to meet anyone from my friends list. Or imagine this: a giant Pixar Planet convention! We all would join together to celebrate the Pixar Planet Awards and it would be the most chill thing ever. We could have epic T-Shirts with our usernames on them and our rank and when we joined the site and an image of our favourite movie! :mrgreen:

One of the other fan sites I’m at (for Spongebob) was tossing around a similar idea. ;-p It sounds totally cool. I’m betting the realization of it would be a little tricky, though.

Non-sequiturially, I’ve wanted to own a large amount of land ever since I started reading about the American Revolution. I don’t care where, exactly - upstate New York, Virginia or northern California are all beautiful - but it’s a dream. An idyllic paradise which probably isn’t as charming as I might think. :unamused: That, and my future career might dictate other living arrangements.

Yep Lauren (aka thewisecookiesheet) was on a trip to San Francisco, and visited my hometown which is an hour away. We only hung out for a couple hours, but it was great to meet each other in person!

There has been talk of a Pixar Planet convention. But it’s nothing more than ideas. Especially since half of us are high schoolers under 18 and the other half are starving college students with no money to spend on such things! 8D

Well, 2, and then a big Pixar fan from Twitter who tried joining but never stayed in the community here, and then another who’s mom actually works at Pixar (didn’t manage to go, conflicting schedules xP). But I do get to meet a 5th this November! And then a 6th and 7th in December (and probably a 7th and 8th in January, if I managed to meet up with them when I go to the capital :stuck_out_tongue:)

That’s an aspiration of mine as well, to meet the Pixar friends I’ve made here and on Twitter that I’ve grown to be close enough to.

It’s really exciting :smiley:

But warning, always be careful when meeting someone you’ve met online. I never meet anyone by myself.
