Autographs and Acclamations

I remember when I was really young, I was at the airport, and our flight got cancelled. We were eating at this restraunt, and right besides us, or a couple tables away was this guy talking on his phone. My mom, and grandma both thought he looked familiar. The waitress who was the only other person, besides us and the guy talking on his phone, also agreed that he looked familiar. She said she was watching this one gangster movie the other night, and she thought that he was the bad guy in it. I went over and asked him for his autograph, which he did give to me on a napkin, but it was very blurry. He also told me a couple of movies that he was in, and that he was usally the villian, {or gangster  }. It’s been so long now though I forget what his name was, or what movies he was in. I even lost his autograph! :imp:

Yay for reviving dead boards! :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, last night, a friend of mine took me to our band banquet and origianlly, her dad was supposd to drive us, but her mom had to instead.

Why?

He was chaperoning John Ratzenberger around

They were able to get an autograph for me, which is freakin’ awesome  I hope to upload some pictures soon

I have a lot of baseball autographs, mostly from the local AA team, the Akron Aeros. I also have a bowler’s autograph, Billy something…, and I have a glossy print of John Lasseter. [url]Twitpic That’s about it.

Oh wow… some of you guys are sooo lucky!

Well its not a powerful and impressive list like most of yours…

From Pixar:
John Lasseter (Glossy Print)
Pete Docter (signed Letter and Print)
Brad Bird (Sorry I couldn’t answer Directly: heres my FAQ Responces)

From Movies:
I have met (and know his father) Michael Sheen, (The Queen, New Moon, Alice in Wonderland)

Sport:
1996 Newcastle United Football Club team (yet I don’t seem to be able to put my hands on it)
James Hook (Wales and British Lion, Osprey’s Rubgy)

  1. I have Elissa Knight’s autograph from WALL-E. I got it by mail

  2. I have Jim Davis, the dude responsible for Garfield. I got it by mail.

  3. I have Diana Digarmo’s autograph (is that how you spell her name?). She’s of no importance to me, but apperently she’s famous. I think she was on American Idol. Anyway, I saw her play Maria in West Side Story, and the group I was with went backstage to get autographs. And there was a fat line because everyone loved her. I have no idea who she was and I still don’t know. But apperently it’s a big deal.

Well in second grade this one lady came to our school. She was really nice, and she had written an illustrated book on sharks. I left school that day with a smile on my face and an autographed copy of that book.

I lost the book years ago, and I don’t remember her name either…
She wasn’t really like famous or anything, but that’s the closest I’ve been to meeting someone famous. Yeah, pretty lame, I know. :stuck_out_tongue:

I haven’t had any autographs from anybody from Pixar yet but I have some from pretty big people.

When Hilary Clinton was rallying in Texas, I got the opportunity to get sigs from her, Bill, and Chelsea. Chelsea came to my school and so did Forest Whitaker. He’s a very nice guy.
Then when the Dallas Film Festival was going on I got Josh Brolin, Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton, Michelle Rodriguez (one of the most down to earth actresses I have ever met. She was very laid back and generous), that one dude in Office Space…I forgot his name haha, Mickey Rooney (funny man! I heard a lot of negative stuff about him when meeting him but he was very pleasant and hilarious), and then a bunch of other people that I can’t remember.

I have autographs from all the Golden Girls except Estelle since she was too sick to sign. I also have Stan Lee. Thank goodness I wrote to him early because he doesn’t sign through the mail anymore.

My fave in person signature would have to be Brandon Routh aka Superman. He is so hot in person and super nice. lol

One of my fave ttm sigs is Miep Gies. I treasure that one so much since she’s a huge part of history.

The rest of my collection is more actors, singers, and NBA players that I’ve met at different events.
I just sent off my letter to Pete Docter so hopefully I can finally add a Pixar person to my collection.

If anyone wants to see pics, just holla at me.

Wow, you got the whole set!

I got Bryan Davis’ autograph. And John Lasseter’s if you count the TSC COAs.

John Marsden, Stuart Beattie, Caitlin Stasey, Lincoln Lewis, Deniz Akdeniz & Chris Pang
