This year I’ve been trying to watch every Theatrical animated film this year, so I can do this award show thing. If any of you know if there was an animated film{s} out previously this year besides Coraline.

Well, if you count the US theatrical release of Ponyo, that could be one. Ponyo actually premiered in Japan last year, but if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a watch.
My home country also released an animated film in cinemas, called Geng: The Adventure Begins but it’s in Malay, has pretty lousy graphics by the poster’s standard, and I doubt it’ll get an international release. Interestingly though, it beat Slumdog and Benjamin Button in domestic box-office takings.
