at the British Academy for Film and Television Awards. I suspect it’s gonna be
tight.
For those who are keeping their fingers crossed,
let’s just hope that Cars grabs the title. This is a good chance for the film to
win an award, at least, if it doesn’t win the Oscar prize that is.

Hmm, it is going to be tight, definitely. Hopefully Cars’ top notch animation and storytelling will push it
ahead of its competitors.
I dunno. Maybe the BAFTA guys are keenly aware of FA’s
lack of nominations in other awards, and they do tend to have a (slight) pro-UK bias. Any group who produced
CotWR is bound to have an edge in a British award ceremony.
That, and I also believe they enjoyed
Babe very much, so George Miller behind HF could swing it. Like I said, it’s gonna
be tight.
Well, Flushed Away and Happy Feet are great competition. I am intrested to see how this will turn out.
