Barnyard the original party animals

This movie is kinda

funny, but over all it is stupid!!

Has anyone ever seen it?

if so

tell moi (me) what ya think.

I saw it only

once – and, to tell you the truth, I don’t really want to see it again. :stuck_out_tongue:

Although, I have to admit that Freddy the Ferret had me cracking up in quite a few parts…

Isn’t it just a rip-off

from Home on the Range or something? I don’t really plan on seeing it.

No, it’s more like Lion King with

transvestite cows(Bulls with udders? Come on…) from the reviews I’ve read.

LOL,

FigmentJedi! I’m assuming it’s bad then.

i mean it is just so darn stupid!

but,

ya know, Ottis kinda reminds me of lightning, and Ben reminds me of doc. did anyone ever notice that?

Never saw it, and I don’t plan

to. It looks as if they’re trying so hard to be funny, but they’re not. And the character styles aren’t really

… eye-catching. It just looks boring.

I saw it. It was a

waste of time for me. I don’t think I’ll ever want to see it again .

I know it is your opinion, but pray tell. Why do

you think this is stupid? I just find it strange because you said it was funny.

well, it was one of those movies that is

Kinda funny but they push it too far.

Dancing farm animals? cows that drive

motorcycles & cars? what really got me so confused is that the bulls (male cows) have utters!

it’s

just my opinon jus’ to let you know.

Ah, I see. But did is have a decent

story/animation?

I agree with everything CarFreak said. This movie looked

so terrible when I saw the tailer for it, and it certainly doesn’t seem funny.

I saw a little bit of it in a

costco sotre. I thought it was okay.

The film itself contains a plot

that is not too unfamiliar:

[spoil]
Otis is the son of a bull named Ben, who also

happens to be the leader of all the barnyard animals (besides the farmer, of course). Ben has begun to feel his

age…and tries to explain this to Otis, saying that it will be Otis’ responsibility to watch over the farm

after he (Ben) has passed on. However, Otis is more interested in spending time with his friends and partying and

night then taking up sentry duties…

One lonely night, Ben defends the chicken coup from a pack of

hungry coyotes…and gets injured in the process. Otis arrives too late; with Ben already badly hurt, he dies in

Otis’ arms. Otis then realizes that he is now left alone to defend the farm, something he never cared to learn

in the first place.

The coyotes, having succeeded in killing off the leader of the farm, now go for Otis,

knowing that he is only an ameteur and a weakling in his new position. Otis, however, will not give up without a

fight. After many side-road adventures, and a final showdown with the coyotes, Otis claims his rank as official

leader of the herd and successor to his late father. As a surprise bonus, his mate ends up having a calf near the

end of the film, whom she christens “Ben”…after Otis’ dad. [/spoil]

Overall, it

wasn’t a terribly horrible film, although there was definitely room for improvement. The nice thing about it was

that there were enough funny moments to keep me awake, but not enough heart to captivate me throughout the

film.

 I’m so sorry for this short reply

but…

coughs Lion King cough

Rip-off artists :unamused:

Im not sure if its come out here yet but when

i saw the trailer i cringed and wanted to cry cause the animation looks really stiff (from my untrained eye). . .

and the models  they jsut scare me, i think its cause they’re a bit boxy. . . i dunno, all i kno is im not

goin to see it.

[color=indigo:3kegcavw][i:3kegcavw]Barnyard[/i:3kegcavw] loses major

points for that. I suppose they made the male cows white with black splotches because that would be more

appealing to kids than a brown bull, but…get real, people. :-\
