Behind the Door

I was in deep thought one day and ran

the film through my mind once more…I forgot that I hadn’t seen it in a long time, too hurtful

memories…but…I came to an interesting conclusion in the Door Vault scene…and I ran through the

calculations of distance and volume and am pretty sure…
Sullivan and Wazowski DID know Randall was sighted

and, though shaky, was attacked…
I’ll say the reason but lets see if you guys agree first off…or have

doubts.

I thought about this myself and,

yep, more than likely they did see what happened to the guy. Just goes to show that your coworkers can sometimes

be as heartless as a rock, but then again…I suppose Mike and Sulley simply didn’t care what happened to

Randall after all that had happened over a certain period of time…

Ah Mitch. Always a pleasure.

True true…

Eheh – thanks.

Keep in mind, though, that I don’t believe I will

ever understand what you guys see in Randall. The dude creeps me out, sorry to say.

I know he had a rather hard lifestyle, but seriously…he made himself a little too unpopular. Heh.

The

only thing I can symphathize with the guy is the fact that he desperately needs a hug, that’s for sure. If

sometime just told him that he was loved…that would clear everything up. (snigger)

Heh.

Strange Mitch. From a person who likes

Rat you don’t seem to get it? Most people consider rats to be unpleasent, not to mention frowned upon by Health

Inspectors heh…
Same goes for the reptilian species.

Randall has had more trouble with his life than

you can imagine. And the feeling of being “creeped out” lead to his life being even more

difficult…if only knew…if only you knew…

Ahh – wait a

minute, I see what you mean now. Heheh – yeah, now it all makes sense! Don’t get me wrong now, because I love

all animals (repitles included). I think snakes and lizards are some of the most fascinating things on the

planet…

But yeah, the whole “being shunned/looked down upon” thing in Randall’s case

certainly adds to the pain in his world. Oh well… Too bad he’s not real, huh? Then you could guys could

really tell hiim how you feel.

Yes…racism in the Monster

World applies to them…as such in most people and religions here…

Not real huh? Heh

heh…that’s…one opinion I suppose heh.

Nexas- Yeah, I guess you’re right- Mike and Sulley probably did see what had

happened to Randall. I guess the reason they weren’t too bothered was because by that point, Randall really was

the enemy to them, even more so than Waternoose. At the beginning of the film, he was an annoying co-worker, but

by this stage, in their view, he was the out and out villain, and since he had had no chance to redeem or explain

himself (although he did, at one point, beg to be able to do so) so their views weren’t gonna be changed any

time soon.

Maybe they saw it in the way that most of the audience watching the film would have been- as a

sort of cartoony, wacky thing, not as though Randall was actually really getting

hurt that badly, like in some Looney Tunes cartoon.

Well to give them at least SOME credit…they probably didn’t SEE what happened. There’s a difference between

seeing, and hearing.
They heard him definetly however…and…in terms of guessing…well…if you didn’t

see what was happening to a person, you can imagine the worst…if you cared that is.

Well sometimes

there’s a differance…

I never thought of that before.

Mainly cuz they closed the door and threw it over the ledge pretty much right after they threw Randall in there

but I suppose they probably could have heard something. There was a few seconds between when they threw him and

when the door was actually tossed over…

:open_mouth:

Well, the other points are agreeable, but you ARE

jokeing about the Randall-is-real thing…?

To add to that, and the reason why I posted, they did hear

something. From the Scareing we saw, screams can go through the door. And Randall was, in a more painful way, was

doing it.

Heh…what? Didn’t know that? heh.

“Real” is…such a

flimsy word heh heh…and no I don’t joke about it heh.
