Bernie Mac passed away earlier today due to pneumonia. He was hospitalized on August 1, and the following day, a source close to the family said that Mac was in “very, very critical condition”. His publicist, Danica Smith, said he was expected to make a full recovery, and was responding well to treatment. He is known for his roles in the Ocean’s Eleven series of films, Bad Santa, Transformers, and for his sitcom on FOX, The Bernie Mac Show. He was aged 50.

I heard about this in the morning…I was totally shocked…he was a funny comedian and may he rest in peace… :frowning:

The news kinda caught me off guard, too…way too many young celebrity deaths these past two years…scary… :shake:

I haven’t personally heard of Bernie Mac, but no-one deserves to die at such a young age. Rest in peace.
