Could I suggest that in our biographies, we have that option of including images, hyperlinks, and smilies?
The smilies I think we can do without, but I like the idea of an optional profile photo. It adds a more personal touch and enhances the reality that there’s a live person behind the avatar.

Yeah, I’m all for a profile photo. Images would be cool too but people may abuse it or else put too many and crowd space … but I suppose that’s all up to them.
If we added the option of uploading a photo to your profile, size limit rules would apply.

Actually all I wanted to do was have a few cute pictures here and there within the biography section of my profile - like pictures of my city, favourite places, pets, etc Not really a photo of myself, but if I helped come up with the idea of an actual “profile photo”, then I’m happy.
I would also love to use hyperlinks in my bio as well.

Yeah having photos would be neat. I dont have any that are on any other sites, but it would be cool to put a face to the name.
Photo’s would be cool ! I wouldn’t be able to put a real photo of myself , but i would put some cool self-portrait …
