This month isn’t just hte month for valentines…
It’s also black history month!
Just a shoutout to all those celebrating Black History Month! Black people have come a long way, and with the first black president in American history, this Black History Month must be pretty special!
I will be celebrating that the present has given equal rights to different races…it truly is something worth recognizing. 
I’ve heard of this occasion before, is it celebrated in February annually?
Anyway, yeah, here’s to Equal Opportunity, regardless of (to quote the Singapore Pledge) “race, language, and religion”. I would like to add “gender, sexual preference, and physical mobility” but I’m too tired. Oops, I just did! Laugh out loud. 
One thing I always wondered though: They have Black history month and Hispanic heritage month, but where’s the Asian or Native American history month? In my opinion, the Native Americans went through just as much if not more then the blacks, and Asia has one of the richest cultures in the world.
I remember in my high school, every day, we are told one intresting fact about African Americans and their impact on American History. Such a intresting story and time of year.
