What are everyone’s
thoughts on how Pixar use to make bloopers for their films but don’t do it anymore?
They were so smart
and funny!
And I know of many Incredibles fans who were disappointed that the Incredi-blunders on the DVD
weren’t similar to the ones shown at the end of both Toy Story 1 & 2, A Bug’s Life, and Monsters, Inc. I
would’ve loved bloopers for The Incredibles, but I’ll take what I can get.
In my opinion, Pixar doesn’t
have to run bloopers during every end credit sequence, but it might be nice to see them as features on the
DVDs…a little something extra for hardcore fans. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

Everyone knows that the bloopers are just extras that Pixar could ignore completely. The reason why the
Incredibles isn’t like the other bloopers is because the characters are so hard to simulate and animate.

They said on the Finding Nemo DVD commentary that it’s because that Pixar likes
to do different things. I love the bloopers, but if they think enough is enough, then I’m cool with it.
(The Incrediblunders were sort of lame, IMO)
Incrediblunders were all right: I got a good
laugh!
Yeah, they stopped after MI because they thought they were getting into a groove.
I’ve
loved the Outtakes they have done: My favorite being Hopper’s scene screw ups (with Molt & Atta), Woody
losing his string (Jessie: Hilarious!) and the Company Play: Put that Thing Back Where it Came
From, Or So Help Me!!
I think the Cars end scenes were a clear indication that they wanted
to make something funny for the end, but not necessarily outtakes.
The blooper reals were so funny becuase they were so realistic. Like the Bug’s Life one where the Princess
could not stop cracking up and did take after take…
My favorite is the Toy Story one where Woody
keeps drawing things on Buzz’s helmet/wings… heehee
I love the MI blooper where Roz just shows up
everywhere.
“See, the closest’s empty…No monsters in here!”
“Surpriiiise!”

I think that the bloopers were kind of more appropriate for the other films, but not for
The Incredibles and Cars…They might make bloopers for future Pixar films, but I’m not sure.
I think it
would be appropriate for Incredibles especially since they are like… people. I can imagine some where like
Dash’s running and all of a sudden he slips on a banana peel…
Cars bloopers would be funny… seeing as
they’re cars lol.
I guess the thing with bloopers is that they kind of don’t allow you to imagine that what
happened in the film was real, and this can be a real downer for kids. What I mean is that, when you’ve seen a
blooper associated with a film, and then you may see the camera crew laughing, etc., then it makes it seem as
though the story you have just been told, with all the animated characters you have just seen, is actually fake,
and that the characters were just acting.
Very true, Lizard girl . . .
except the fact that in a PIXAR film . . . that world IS fake. Adding stuf like unused Cameras and sound boomers
and stuff that AREN’T really at work is what makes it funnier!
Well, when I first saw the bloopers I already realized it was just a mockery of real life
movies… so I don’t know. I think it brings it to a level where the kids can believe that the worlds in the
movie and the real world exist somewhat together. Maybe.
on Wikipedia on the
Cars page it says that
Cars will have
Bloopers on the Cars
DVD. Do any of you think it will have bloopers on the dvd?

I don’t know about it being cetain, but I have my
fingerz crossed for it.
I loved the bloopers pixar’s given us so far
I would really like em to come
back. In my opinion bloopers never get old as far as pixar movies are concerned because it’s a different movie
with different characters every time! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and
Wink" />
I have a feeling they just mean the whole end credit jokes of Ratzenburger and stuff . .
.
