I’ve seen this trend of blue landscapes and atmospheres. And with Newt coming up (blue newt) the trend is going. So anyone else notice any other trends in the Pixar films? I’m not talking about “easter eggs” though. Thank you for reading!

Huh, I never really thought about that before but yeah, Pixar does seem to use blue a lot. 
Here are some other ones you forgot:
Andy’s cloud wallpaper from Toy Story is blue.
Flik from A Bug’s Life is blue.
Sulley from Monsters Inc. is also blue.
And even Mater’s old paint job seen in Cars was blue!
Maybe Pixar is going through its blue period! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA bricked Yeah, I know that was horrible.
Lol, it is possible, other artists have after all…maybe it’s just a type of trend that they have done with the films.
I never noticed that before! But yes, you’re right MONSTER, there’s a definite blue trend there. I’m not sure if it’s a conscious thing, but maybe blue is just the favourite colour of quite a few Pixarians?

You know what’s interesting about the color blue, colors like that along with green and purple are known as cool colors in art terms. This bascially means that these colors help give the viewer a feeling of calm while warm colors such as red, orange, and yellow convey more like a feeling of energy. This could be another reason for the blue color scheme.
I’ve noticed that before! It’s cool! I have a blue colored room, so it works nicely with the colors of the Pixar posters.

I don’t remember where I read this piece of fact, but most movie posters are blue and orange, to contrast the cool and warm of the colors respectivally.
Wall-E and Finding Nemo were examples of this, as well as Jumper and Transformers
But yeah, it’s crazy.
