Any board games you like? ![]()
Well, I haven’t played a lot of board games in a while, but one of my favorite ones is Monopoly. I have never won a game before, but the mere challenge it brings is so exciting.
Not to mention I have the Pixar Addition of Monopoly.

My top board games: Monopoly, Sorry!, and Trouble (board game?) ![]()
Yeah, you gotta love Monopoly! I quite like Chinese Checkers as well, and Mah Jong.
I can’t seem to finish a game of Monopoly. ![]()
I like Risk…fun strategy game. ![]()
For some reason I’ve always taken a shine to Snakes and Ladders.
Heh, I’d like to see a Pixar version of that. “Mirage has tripled your salary! Go up three stories this way!” And then, “Oh noes - Syndrome attacks you with a robot, which swipes you back down two stories over here…” …Yeah…
Oh gosh, I used to be addicted to board games. I used to play them 24/7 – every day, every hour, every single minute of the year. Here are my top favorites:
Chess
Yatzee!
Checkers
Risk
Chinese Checkers
Snakes and Ladders
Life
Parchessi
Sorry!
My favorite of the lot is the first one: Chess. It’s the best game in the entire world and the universe combined, and that’s the truth! (snigger)
I never could get used to playing Monopoly, even though many of my family members enjoyed engaging in a round of “monopolized” play. I was more of a Disney board game(s) person and an ingenuitous gamer. I liked to use my brain… ![]()
Candy - Haha! That’s clever…
“You’ve successfully concocted a cheese soufle dish! Move five paces up the cheese ladder.”
![]()
LOL!
“Uh oh, a gang of mischievous tuners push you off the road! Tumble down four spaces.”

Puh-HA!! ![]()
“Oh no! You spilled a pot of soup and now Colette is coming after you with her knife! Better run three paces down to get out of her way.”
I cried the last time I played Monopoly, because my mother bankrupted me. Meany. Hehe. I can be such a sore loser with board games… I don’t play them much.
My favorite board game is Monopoly hands down. I own the Pixar edition and the Pittsburgh edition because my dad worked there. My family NEVER has enough free time or the will to play with me, but it was fun to break in my Pixar edition with Dash. ![]()
Oh, and, “Anton Ego gave your dish a bad review. Lose a turn!” ![]()
~~=oP
Aggie - Lol. You remind me of my sister in/when dealing with board games. Playing with her is like sticking a knife in your arm. ![]()
Mitch - AHAHAA!!! XDDD
Basicly, I like board games if you can input some sort of strategy into them.
Aggie - Yeah, that sounds like my house. Here, board games can be a little, um, heated. ![]()
Anybody played Mice Catch (or something like that)? You race your mouse around a track and avoid this evil contraption. ![]()
Gasduude: I think the game is called Mouse Trap. I got it, but on the first day, it broke.
Gasduude - Oh yeah – Mouse Trap! How could I possibly forget that one? My sister and I used to play it all the time, until we gave it away. We’d pretend the mice were our pets and would pretend to trap them in the various gizzmoes that were included with the game. ![]()
Ahaaaa!!! That’s hilarious! ![]()
TSS - Thanks. Mouse Trap, then. And it’s the same here, I don’t know where any of those flimsy plastic pieces are! ![]()
Probably like mine. Lost somewhere in the deepest, sarkest areas of your house. ![]()
TSS - “In the deep corners of the closet…” ![]()
I think they made a Ratatouille version. Haven’t even seen it yet, though.
