Indeed… Hopefully, Disney won’t “push” Pixar to make a sequel
of Ratatouille. John Lasseter probably won’t let em’ do it, though. ![]()

Nah, Pixar are in control really- Disney were able to
shove them around when Pixar was a very small company, but now it’s grown so much, Disney can’t have that much
power over Pixar any more.
True…true. Pixar is climbing to new hights, that’s for sure. Maybe they’ll go
to infinite and beyond their limits (…"The Wonderful World of
Pixar"…?). Hmm…
I can imagine it now! ![]()

QFT. When
I heard they were buying Pixar, I thought “Darn! Pixar’s gonna be standardised to death!” Now I
suspect (and hope) that perhaps the reverse will take place. Maybe Pixar, and the wonderful people that work
there, will re-invigorate Disney and reorganise its priorities. John Lasseter pulling a large amount of Sequels
is a very promising sign.
It’s like in Star Trek: Voyager, when the Borg Queen assimilated the future
version of Janeway, only to find Janeway had infected herself with a virus that spread through the
collective.

It does seem like that’s happening, so hopefully Disney’s standards are
going to be raised and we’re gonna start seeing good quality Disney films once again!
You
guys took the words right out of my mouth! ![]()
(Uggh… “Sequels”. You don’t even want to know
what other movies Disney was planning to create…)
Geez! What’s with all the sequels? I’m sure Ratatouille
will do okay if only cuz it’s an original story and not an extension on an earlier one ![]()

Geez! What’s with all the sequels? - Money…
Most big companies will do anything to earn a few bucks, even if it means “canning” their employees,
degrading their reputation, and breaking certain rules. ![]()

Indeed. Ever wonder how Pixar manages to hit the ball out of the park every time? Well, that’s mainly due to
three little enhancing words: Achievement, knowledge, and love.
Achievement, because they aim to succeed in everything they do. That is their main
goal, and they obviously have the sense to stick to it. Knowledge, because they know
that a good story equals a successful movie and a full theater. Love, because they
enjoy doing what they do, and that, in essence, helps their films to pass the finish line. ![]()
