Thanks to JV and Collider now we know that nice guy Brad Lewis is going to direct a Pixar movie.An official statement from the studio is expected in the next weeks.

No speculation pal, as always the very well informed JV post a link on his site redirecting to collider.com.There you’ll find 2 video interviews to Brad Lewis and John Lasseter. They both say that the pic is in the early stages of development so their is an unofficial announcement.

Is Pixar going to officially announce this movie in a few weeks
or is that your opinion?
Sorry now I understand: John Lasseter said that they were going in a few weeks to make an official statement. How many weeks is up to speculation, but this kind of announcement fits (that’s my guess) properly in a investor relation (a manager who takes a creative role!)
In the end there’ll be an official statement soon but I don’t know how much soon…

The stock holders report thing comes out in December, I think. So maybe that’s where it’ll be announced
with a picture of Up or WALL-E or both!!!
It’ll be interesting to see where this announcement will come from.
