Brothers and Sisters?

So,

do you have any brothers and sisters? And, more importantly, do you love them? No, seriously, what do they

do that annoys you, and what do they do that makes you smile and appreciate them?

I have two brothers (both older than me) and three

sisters (all younger than me, so it’s boy-boy-boy-girl-girl-girl)

My oldest brother and youngest sister

share many interests. He’s into the sci-fi/fantasy stuff, she’s into Pixar, and we’re all into good comedy. I

like discussing current affairs with my second eldest brother, and he’s always good for a laugh. My

oldest-but-younger-than-me-sister is very good at organising stuff like Christmas presents (no mean feat with

eight people to shop for, before looking outside the family). The middle sister is usually bubbly and cheers me

up.

The downsides: My oldest brother can get a bit sucked into World of

Warcraft, so when it’s a call from my parents to help with chores, and it comes to between us,

I’m usually the loser, as he’s off on some Molten Core raid or something. My eldest sister can get a bit

overentheusiastic with housework, and I can find my Saturdays suddenly robbed from me as I’m carting washing all

over the house. Also, when she’s in organisation mode, she can be overly aggresive at times. The middle sister

has a habbit of asking to be driven to extracirricular activities 15 minutes before she’s due to be there, which

is quite a curve ball for someone with Aspergers. In addition, she has a habit of raising her voice and shouting

whenever she feels like she’s being accused of something, and this causes rows with her and my mother. The

youngest can be quite cheeky behind my mother’s back, which is not cool as she’s got a lot on her plate. She

also generates 80% of the mess around the house (clothes, shoes, yoghurt pots, crisp packets etc) which the rest

of us have to pick up when we clean the house. This also generates conflict with my oldest sister. In fact, all

three of my sisters can end up arguing over something trivial, which stresses out my

Mother.

[/rant]

Don’t get me wrong, I love my family to bits, and would die for any one of them.

You just have to blow off steam, sometimes.

Aww, wow, it sounds like you’ve got a full house! Christmas must be a pretty interesting experience. I’m

an only child myself, so that kind of thing is pretty alien to me, but it sounds like the good things and bad

things about having siblings balance themselves out. As you said, you’d die for them because you love them,

despite some of their annoying little habbits.

I’m the oldest of 4 kids. I

have a twin brother, a younger brother, a sister, and our baby (a puppy).

I have one older brother and

I’m the second oldest, and then I have three younger brothers and one younger sister. All together I have 5

siblings.

Thank you! I

finally get to let off some feelings…

Ok…here we go:

First of all, this sucks big time, as I really wanted a brother.

Leia -

Leia is the epitemy of odd and alien-ish. She is way

ā€œout thereā€ compared to other kids of her age, simply because she has been homeschooled all of her life

and is very secluded. Even though she recently entered Jr. High this year, she is still rather different from the

other youngins. Unlike some other children, who swear and cause mischief, she is extremely sensitve, and will cry

if the smallest spider is crushed by a shoe. She loves bugs, dragons, and the color blue, and will never admit

that she is wrong…unless it’s absolutely necessary and if her life depends on it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Another weird

quality about my sister is that she absolutely will not go anywhere

but dreamworld if she is left to her own devices. When she is on her own, she will

act out in the open and do voices from various movies that she loves. She loves Randall, General Grievous from

Star Wars, and Larryboy…and hates to admit it. And as difficult as Leia can be,

she is the coolest person

to play with. The one fun thing about Leia is that she can make me laugh so hard that I’ll pee my pants – and I

don’t mind this one bit. :stuck_out_tongue:

She is also rather good with a lightsaber. Heck, she broke dad’s toy

Obi-Wan lightsaber while fighting him once… (snigger) I only wish she wasn’t so bossy all the

time…

Nina -

Nina is mentally delayed, yet everyone loves her.

Let’s just say that Nina can drive you up the wall 50% of the time, but can make you smile that other 50% quite

a few times…if needed. The good thing about Nina is that her case is no where near as severe as some other

kids. She is extremely bright for a kid with a mentally delayed condition, and will not argue unless she has good

reason to. She learns in a ā€œsnapā€, especially when it comes to memorizing things. Her favorite movies

are Pixar films, and so far she knows practically every line of dialogue in Toy

Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc.,

Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles. She is just

beginning to learn the words of Cars – so far, she has the "Speed – I am

speed" thing down, and she will also do the ā€œfin/noggin’/dudeā€ thing perfectly.

Yep…those are my sisters. Let’s just say that I’m weirder than both of them. :stuck_out_tongue:

Good idea. Here is my

bio.

Twin: The best friend and the worst enemy you will ever have. The closest thing too.

Younger

bro: Gangsta

Sister: cute, but a disrespectful person. Love her anyays

Puppy: Cute. The most

adorable thing you will ever see.

I think that it’s really cool that you have a twin, TSS. Do you look similar and

think similar things, or are you completely different?

i only have a little brother who is 5

I have one brother who just turned 11, despite the age gap we’re really close.

The only thing he does that annoys me is that he always has to point out my dream car…that I will never be

able to afford but that’s not even that bad. What he does that I really appreciate are alot of the little

things. The other night he drew me all my favorite characters from Cars while I was doing homework

He’s the only one who will quote movies randomly with me…that’s gotten a few odd stares…like

when we’re in public and, Mitch like you said about your sister he’s pretty good

with a lightsaber

What’s your dream car?

mine is a corvette! ;-p

For the longest time it’s been a jeep liberty, I love

vehicles with the round headlights…i’m not sure why…but I love the corvettes and mustangs too…pretty

much anything I like is out of my price range but i love pointing out all the nice cars to my parents whenever we

go into town. I wouldn’t even have to own it…just to drive a classic would be awesome. So my dad just

had to point out that his first car was a red TR3 Triumph…and my mom’s was a silver

Mustang…sigh

Sorry for going off topic

CarFreak : aww , and I thought u were off to a good start with the no off-topic .

I

have 4 sisters and 1 brother

Older : two
Younger:two
Leftover: my black lab . we call him our

little black brother . ( which is not supposed tp be offensive to any african americans )

I have 1 younger brother who will be 18 years old on December 19. He’s a jock to the

max, but when he’s not playing sports, he’s playing his XBox 360.

I hardly see him because he has a

social life. He doesn’t even stay home after school. He comes home and heads right back out.

sighs

But I love him.

~~=oP

I have a younger brother who’s 13 and a younger sister who’s 15. My sister

acts more mature than me, and she’s no fun at all. She loves to crank up the cell phone bill and get away with

things. :unamused:
My brother has selective hearing and a short attention span, especially in class since I have

tutoring with him. He’s fun though. Usually too goofy, but when he’s mad it’s chaos.
He’s the only one I

can talk to about Pixar films and stuff- most of my family either lives far away or we just don’t communicate

anymore, not since I was five anyway. I’ve lost the last cousin I actually liked to her mother’s insane

religion. =P
My neighbor’s kid is much like a little sister to me. She’s eleven, and her sister’s

twenty-something and is always hanging out with her friends at clubs and stuff, and her parents are never home,

so she hangs out here. She’s the sister I never had- my sister NEVER in her life has hugged me. Only when she

was little, I think. Now, it’s below her. =P

I have a half-sister who’s much older than I am (we’re 11 years apart). She’s the most

important person to me. We always have a great time together, and I love her very much. Sure, we have a few rough

times, but we resolve them. Also, she lives in the U.S. while I live in Canada, so I appreciate the times we have

together a lot more.

sorry it won’t happen again NO MORE OFF TOPIC FOR CARFREAK!!
Darn… I DID IT

AGAIN!! Shame on me!
