you haven’t been on it? You should! It is a good
ride.
you haven’t been on it? You should! It is a good
ride.
The Star Swordsman -
Yeah, I know – I should! One of these days…heheh.
Well, for now, the only Cars
thing they have is when Lightning and Mater drive to meet and greet the people in California Adventure.
The Star Swordsman - No
kidding? You can actually meet Lightning and Mater in person? Awesome! I’ve don’t have the money to spend on a
trip to Disneyland/California Adventure at the present time, so it looks as if I will have to wait a while before
I get to experience the full pleasure of getting up close and personal with the Cars
characters in Walt Disney World. Too bad the theme parks are so expensive… ![]()
True!
Actual life size Lightning and Mater drive out in California Adventure. They have it all. The stickers and
everything.
The Star Swordsman - You make me want to dig in my pockets for extra cash – I’ve
gotta see this; you’ve made me so excited. (snigger)
Heheh – thank you for the information. I will look
forward to meeting Lightning and Mater in person on my next visit to Disneyland. ![]()
They are loud and their “sponsers” are so
interactive and into it. If you listen carefully, you may hear the Cars soundtrack playing in the Cars.
The Star Swordsman - They’re not too loud, are they? Not that my
ears would pop or anything, but still. Heh…
Well, I’ll keep an ear out for that
Cars backround music. Thanks for the tip. ![]()
Well, If you would just listen to their engines roar. Lighting is loud you
know. How many tractors did he tip?
you know there is a whole bunch of bumper stickers in lizzie’s shop. I fav is: I’m not speeding,
I’m quailying
Mitch- I’d agree with that statement completely, but the only thing stopping
Disney from becoming jealous, so to speak, is the success of PotC. It’s done so well that Disney probably still
feel that they’ve ‘got it’, at least in the live action department.
lizardgirl - I also agree with your statement. The success of the
“Pirates” films has caused a boost in Disney’s money pockets and stability, so to speak. Due to the
fact that those two particular films were (and are) popular with the teenage crowd, the bucks came in rather
quickly…and so did Disney’s boldness concerning the franchise.
It seems that whenever Disney (or any
company, besides Pixar) hits a home run, they continue to run that line, even when there is really no need to
keep going. In other words, if they make one good film, they feel that there is room for a sequel. To them: more
sequels of a good film = more money. Sure – I can believe that…
(heh)
And don’t forget, the more successful the film, the more fans.
Exactly – fans equal money, as does success; which is
one of the reasons why Pixar is so popular.
However, I think we are a getting a little off-topic here.
What were we talking about before? Bumper stickers? Yeah, I think it was bumper stickers. I thought of a few more
phrases that were on the stickers…
It’s Not Nice to Fool Mother Road
Get Your Kicks on Route 66
I Auto be in Pictures
Heheh – there are some better ones, but I forgot what they were.
What
about, “How is my driving?” Get it? ![]()
I
don’t know if something similar has been mentioned before, but I’ve seen a sticker in a back of a Ferrari that
said ‘My other car’s an Aston Martin.’ There could be a play on that- having a sticker in a very, very nice
car mentioning another nice car.
The Star Swordsman - (snigger) Yeah, I saw that
one, too. ![]()
lizardgirl - Haha – that’s cool. I once saw a license
plate on the back of a little red car that said: “When I grow up, I want to be a Ferrari”. I thought it
was just the cutest thing. Heheh…
What
about “Piston Cup Champion!”
Mitch- Aww, how sweet! And it refers to Cars and the theory of a child car growing
up pretty well, too. ![]()
The
Star Swordsman - Even better: "You did
what in your cup?" ![]()
But yours is cool,
too. It would look great on a race car. ![]()
lizardgirl - I know – it was
adorable! ![]()
I can’t remember any of the other bumper stickers that Lizzy housed in her shop. I’ll have
to look back at the dvd again.
