Bumper stickers

I love all of the clever bumper sticker slogans Pixar came up with, and there are 3

that I would seriously put on my car.

“Save 2D Animation.”
"Honk if your horn

works"
“I brake for jackalopes”

Which slogans do you guys

like?

~~=oP

"I am not speeding, I am

Qualifying"

Oh yes, I loved all of those, as well. I on-purposely paused the film at that

particular part and scrolled down frame-by-frame to view all of the bumper stickers.

I am

not speeding, I am qualifying is also my favorite.

Well, mine is

obvious

Incredible Dad on Board
Incredible Mom on Board
My Child was named Super Of

the Month (Violet/Dash)
Incredible Baby on Board

The Star Swordsman - I

believe that PixarVixen is referring to number of bumper stickers featured in the film,

Cars. At one point in the movie, Lizzie – a resident of Radiator Springs – shows

Lightning her collection of Route 66 bumper stickers. The bumper sticker phrases that PixarVixen and aZnCdn are

among those featured in the film.

Oh, I’m sorry. I thought we were talking about Pixar bumper stickers. Well, I do like Nice

Butte. I was laughing so hard when I saw that bumper sticker. And this wasn’t the first time Pixar used that

joke.

one of my favs is the " I got my kicks " bumper sticker .

Nice Butte

?you tailgate, I

Backfire

It’s not

nice to fool the mother road or something like that you can spot it in Lizzie’s shop

I remember Lizzie placed some bumper stickers on Lightning’s bumper. Anyone remember what the stickers

said?

The Star Swordsman - Well, in that section of the film, the song

Route 66 (original version) is playing in the backround. At one point in the song,

the words “Kingsman, Barstow, San Bernardino” are sung out, and Lizzy slaps onto Lightning each sticker

that bears those words…as they are sung out.

Badda-bing.

Same thing with

Fred I also noticed. I thought they might put something original on the back.

The

Star Swordsman - Yep – Fred got some, too. I also thought that they might have put a few

different stickers on the back of Fred, but I guess not…

I found another bumper sticker that I like:

I Auto be in Pictures.

Heheh – Pixar is so creative.

I wonder f they will sell stuff like that in Disney

stores.

The Star Swordsman - I doubt

it. The Disney company is too “tight” for that kind of thing. (snigger)

However, it sure

would be a hoot if they did release something like that in stores. Perhaps, now that John Lasseter has some

control/say over Disney Studios, an excessive amount of new products will be released concerning Pixar’s

films…

What do you mean "too

tight"?

The Star Swordsman -

Well…let me put it this way:

 • Disney was tops until Pixar came along
 • Disney took the competition

and formed a pact with Pixar

 • Disney got about 70%-80% of the shares/income that Pixar’s films earned

Pixar finally had enough after a few years and took back their glory

 • The deals are now split evenly: 50/50.

Perhaps Pixar even gets a little more of their fair share

 • Disney continues to remain just a tad behind Pixar

concerning quality stories, etc…

Now, this is just my guess, but perhaps Disney has gotten a little

“jealous” of Pixar? I mean…I’m sure they always were in the first place, but perhaps they are

starting to “toe-the-line”. Sure, they have released tons of Pixar merchandise worldwide, but maybe

they’re not giving out too much Pixar stuff…in case Pixar should “take over” the Disney company, so

to speak. Of course Disney is gonna release more of their toys than Pixar toys…to keep them on top of the

competition (or, at lesat, try to). Although, now that Mr. Lasseter is in charge of one of the main division at

Disney, things are starting to change…

Heh – I don’t think I made myself that clear. It’s like I

know what I want to say, but I don’t know how to say it. Heh…

I see what you mean. I just wouldn’t be surprised if

they change the Autotopia ride into a Cars ride.

The Star Swordsman - Me neither. Actually, I think that

that is their eventual plan, according to Jim Hill Media. I secretly hope that they will change the

Autopia ride into a Cars ride, even though I’ve never

ridden it. (snigger)
