Hey guys,
There’s a campaign currently underway to help save a Nickelodeon film that was cancelled a few years ago. It’s called Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie. Any support from Pixar fans would be greatly appreciated.
Here’s some background:
Originally, The Jungle Movie was supposed to be released as the theatrical feature of the Hey Arnold! TV series. A special one-hour episode called “The Journal” was also made to link the series to the movie. However, Nickelodeon decided to cancel the project after the show’s creator, Craig Bartlett, decided to leave Nickelodeon for Cartoon Network. Nickelodeon and Paramount currently own the rights to the film and the story. Drafts of the movie were written and developed between 1998-2001 and it’s rumored the script is in its 6th or 7th draft.
And that’s where this Facebook campaign comes in!
Thousands of people have already joined and they’re hoping to get enought support to have the movie put back into production. Again, any support for the campaign would be fantastic and spreading the word would be even better.
Thank you for your time!
