Can't find tracks!

For some reason, on my Toy Story 2 CD, it doesn’t have the music bit where Al takes photos of his Round Up Gang collection. I really like that little tune. It’s the same with the Ratatouille one, I can’t find that song that the little rat band plays when Remy returns to his family. I’m just wondering, are these tracks on the like…soundtracks that wasn’t made in Australia…the ones that were manufactured in the U.S or something

I don’t think Toy Story 2 has that track, it was in the movie but not included in the soundtrack. Due to space constraints on CDs they have to leave out certain parts of the score. In my perfect world soundtracks would include every part of the score from the movie, but what can you do?

That “Rat Band” part of the score wasn’t included on the Ratatouille regular soundtrack, but it was included on an extended edition of the soundtrack (given to Pixar people as a thank you for working on the film) called the “Ratatouille Cast and Crew CD”. The track you’re thinking about is called “Kumpania”. This isn’t common practice at all, by the way. I wish they’d had done this for WALL•E, too, but they didn’t. Anyway, I’ll see if I can hook you up.

That’s kinda like the Cars soundtrack which left off some bits of music (I think opening and ending race parts are shorter, plus the music when Doc races around the Butte isnt there at all).

I recently got the A Bug’s Life CD and it has that bit of music I was looking for in Toy Story 2! It’s in the tracks 2- The Flik Machine and 8- The City
