It took me a while to get used to all of the Mater too. :stuck_out_tongue: He never used to be my favorite, but after hearing Pixar’s take on his character, I never looked at him the same way ever again.

When did I make any Anti-Lightning x Sally comment? I don’t even care about that.

I just said that, as Sally doesn’t get almost any screen-time, the role of the love story won’t be very important this time for the overall plot.

Sometimes this board gets just a little too sensitive.

For the record, I’m pro Lightning x Sally… :slight_smile:

I didn’t mean to come off as anti Lightning x Sally, if that’s how you read it. Different people have different ways of interpreting a pair’s relationship (unless it’s something definite like marriage, for example Bob and Helen). If they are declared married in Cars 2, I’ll be happy. If they’re still BF and GF, I’ll still be happy. Heck, even if they’re platonic friends, I’d still be happy.

As long as they don’t turn it into an awkward ‘you’re no longer my friend even though we went through so much together’ fight like they did with the male characters in Madagascar 2 and Rush Hour 3 (but for the case of Lightning and Sally, in a romantic sense), then I’m satisfied.

So please don’t get the wrong idea. I love Lightning and Sally lovin’ each other. :mrgreen:
