I think Pixar should include more songs that go with their movies. Iām not one whoās totally into scores, so their soundtracks bore me for the most part. I still like scores though, because some of them are pretty.
Now, Iām not saying have your character start singing a song, because thatās really dumb. cough Shrek cough
I mean what they did with Life Is A Highway, Route 66, Real Gone, and Sh-Boom.
Or, write songs, not sung by Randy Newman, but sung by other people.
For example:
āYouāve Got A Friend In Meā, but the Spanish version.
Honestly, I canāt listen to Randy Newman. I get happy when I hear the original Youāve Got A Friend In Me, but thereās a limit to how many times I can hear that song.
Heās great at composing, but I canāt listen to his voice. Heās just not my thing. I know Iām probably getting flamed for this, especially since Iām on a Pixar fan site.
