Just to be Toyata-lly random (please don’t throw bricks at me for that), the Cars 2 teaser might have been a lot funnier if Cars 2 had nothing to do with Secret Agents. Think about it. It would have been a complete non sequitor and hilariously confusing, just like the original Cars teaser.

Oh man, i hope this movie isn´t about Mate or McQueen playing spies :open_mouth: I would be very dissapointed…

Don’t worry, it isn’t. It’s about them one being a spy and the other racing around the world. But according to this, it looks like they’re both going to be spies. So, I don’t know. I don’t really see the big deal either way.

Yeah but it’s pretty much just an overlay addition to the site, with only the 35 sec teaser and 3 concept arts. Not much yet.

I think that this teaser is okay. I was expecting something a bit more elaborate since they’ve been a little slow in releasing it, but I’m pretty satistfied. Although I can see some people watching the teaser and getting disappointed that its not actually a spy film, but a Cars sequel.

The concept art is interesting, but I think I prefer some of Pixar’s other concept art. Still, nice to get news about the upcoming movie!

EDIT: Thinking about it, this teaser is better than the original film’s teaser in that the animation is actually finished.

For some reason, in the original one they included some half-finished race scene. And Lightning McQueen reverts to his old “57” number. Which I find weird.

I agree about liking this teaser more than the First Cars teaser. The Bug’s Life 2 build up was just mean.

I told my friend that they were making Cars 2, and she said she would definitely go to the premiere. Not everyone doesn’t like a sequel. :stuck_out_tongue: I am so excited for this movie!!

The concept art looks beautiful! It’s nice to see Pixar returning to Paris, and I can’t wait to see how England, Japan, and Italy looks from a Pixar perspective!

I too will miss the Americana scenery and feelings of the first Cars movie, however, I am excited to see Europe and Japan from a cars perspective!

Well , even my friends who hate the first cars agree that the idea seems VERY interesting,and that only by seing the teaser, ther no doubt this movie is gonna be AWESOME!
