Oh well, I enjoy it and good for me because it seems to be sticking.
I think I’m in the middle here. I see both sides, but don’t agree with either. Lots of Disney marketing deals work this way. Meet the Robinsons has dozens of posters of just random side characters. I can see how that annoys you, though. If The Incredibles 2 came out, and all the merchandise was Edna Mode, I would kill someone.
Anyway, I reeeeally hope they change their mind on the DVD. I want that teaser…
I must be in the minority by thinking that Lightning McQueen is hilarious. Mater had some geat lines, too, but there’s only so much stereotypical American hick that I can take. Plus he gets his time to shine in the Toons. I really hope Lightning remains the main focus of this film.
Anyway, I’m sure the teaser will turn up on the Cars Toons blu-ray. Speaking of which, has anyone heard about the release date for that overseas? Toy Story 3 is coming to Australia about a week after the US, but I’ve heard nothing about Mater’s Tall Tales…
^Oh no, I find Lightning funny, but Mater was the comedic relief.

I was looking forward to TS3 a lot because of this. I guess I’ll have to get the Mater’s Tall Tales set now too. No offense, but I don’t see the need to spend that money when I have six of them on DVR. Sadness

On an off-but-somewhat-on-topic note, they screened Cars on Australian FTA today! Yippee! But I only watched the first half hour.

Actually the teaser IS on the dvd, it shows mater and lighting trapped in a bunch of lasers and mater saying “I think were in trouble”

I got a pirate copy of the original DVD, i hated the idea of the sequel, but after seeing the teaser im excited!
Ah, cool. Can you take a screencap? Is it just one continuous shot? Seems like a classic Pixar teaser.
