Cars on DVD

anyone know when this is coming!

Probably in a few months or so. I bet it

comes out in September or October

November - probly the

7th we think.

This is true for both Nemo

and the Incredibles. It usually comes out five to six months after the movie has been released in theaters.

Alright. I can’t wait for it. I wonder what features

they will have on this DVD

Its coming out before

Christmas and we are all pretty sure it’s sometime in November. A Nov 7 date was given by Ultimate Disney but

that could change.

jumps up and down insanely Extras extras extras!! I want

to see the extras  Tis the only reason I look forward to any film coming out on DVD, especially one by

Pixar.

As for extras, I can tell you this:

– There will

be a short film starring Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) and the Sheriff (my friend Michael Wallis) about the

“Ghost Light” near Radiator Springs. This is based on the real-life “Spook Light” that’s a

few miles off Route 66 near the Kansas-Missouri border.

For more about the Spook Light, read

this:

– Wallis is fairly certain one of the extras will

include a documentary about the Pixar crew cruising the real-life Route 66 with Wallis in 2001 as part of their

research for “Cars.” The crew took video cameras with them on the trip, and Wallis tells me there’s

lots of cool footage. He’s promised to show me the raw video footage at his home. As soon as he’s done with a

book he’s writing, I’m going to take him up on that promise.

What about bloopers? Are there going

to be like A Bug’s Life Bloopers, or Incredibles bloopers?

Haven’t heard anything about

that, but it’s early.

Stay tuned.

Interesting development. The

Cars presale which was supposed to start in September has been pulled from our calendar at work. Not entirely

sure what this means yet.

Apart from One Man Band, were there any extra things

when Cars was shown in the cinema? Did they have bloopers during the credits?

Not really bloopers, per se, but there was all the "what happened

afterwards" stuff, and the John Ratzenberger jokes in the drive-in. And Minnie and Van have one final

hurrah at the very end.

And route66news, you know Michael Wallis? :open_mouth: Can you get me an autographed

picture of Sheriff or something?

I’m really

looking forward to seeing both, especially the documentary! I want to know what the Pixarians did on their road

trip! Thanks for the info!
