The
“Cars Road Trip '06” made its way to Toronto today (today being April 24th, heheh…). Of course, I
paid a visit…
I didn’t think that the road trip would be so big. They had posters all over the doors of
the shopping centre! You just couldn’t miss it! I entered the NASCAR SpeedPark (which was where the event took
place… makes sense) with my father and saw even more posters, and there was a little area with kids drawing
colour-ins of Lightning McQueen! We went outside so we could see the Cars first. Oh, how pretty they were… see
for yourself at the links below. If you want to savour the moment for when you see them yourself, I suggest
waiting until then, hehe.

When we
went inside, I found out there were giving out free posters and cards! I took two posters (because I always end
up ruining one by accident), a pack of cards and a little poster of Mack that looked
adorable.

There was also a draw for some cool Cars collectibles every hour, but I only stayed for one
and didn’t win. However, if you coloured in a drawing of McQueen that they were giving out, you got a free Cars
collectible toy! Ah… my poor father had to witness his 18-year-old daughter quickly colouring Lightning McQueen
so she could get a free toy. Hahaha. They had about seven cars left and all of them were Mater. Of course, that
didn’t upset me because I love Mater. Poor guy… why was he left behind? Well, here’s a picture of

for free! The volunteers were very
sweet.
